Right behind you...
Wow, we could have traded had we been at the same B&M at the same time. After having my Cloupor Mini for one day, my istick 30 arrived and just in time. My CM display went dark and will not light-up. Sure it still hits, but no display.

I put my Atlantis on the istick 30 and don't plan to look back. Sending the CM back for a refund. With the USB charging / vape while charging capability, I haven't skipped a beat. I guess I need to figure out what to do with 2 Samsung 25r and 2 LG HE 18650 batteries.

Or buy a power pack enclosure from Ebay or Amazon, quite a few 2x or 4x 18650 boxes out there. Makes for a great portable charger for your phones, tablets, or even your iStick. :)

Sorry to hear about your display problem though, because a working CM is pretty darn sweet.

Hello my Vape forum friends. I just finished my review of the Cloupor mini and I paired it with the new Kanger SUBTANK Nano. I like this little mod very much. Here is a link.

Damn! $30 with free shipping... Kinda regretting that $40 I paid for the istick 50w preorder that I did today... Oh well, I still prefer the way a 22mm clearo looks on the istick over the clouper anyway. But damn, that $30 kinda hurts, lol

Actually, the Samsung 25r and LG HE2 are cheaper than the Panasonic batteries and they're some of the best you can get. The Sony's are slightly better but hard to find and $$$ when you do. The Samsung 25r's perform a hair better than the LG HE2's but most (all?) would never know the difference in real world use. I found a 5 pack of LG HE2's for $32 shipped on Amazon so I went with those.

The MXJO (yellow) 18650 IMR High drain 35amp 2500mah are also a good choice. I switched to those when the VTC's started becoming hard to find and I have been using them almost exclusively for awhile now with the exception of a couple of samsungs. I have been very pleased with their performance.

The MXJO are 20a, 35a pulse and are re-wrapped LG HE2 batteries.

KTMRider since you seem to have vast experience with the battery's. How about a list of what battery's you recommend for our Mini's. I only have 2 battery's but will soon be buying a couple more. I really love the mini and will get another.

Ok day 3 with the cloupor mini. Been using it pretty much exclusively since i got it. I have to say, I'm quite impressed so far. Smooth accurate power for my vaping ranges which are from 10 watts on my nautilus mini's, 12-15watts on my kayfuns and 20-25watts on the kanger sub tank. Ohms read true, and best of all this thing feels great in the hand. Solid, weighty and comfortable I can hardly put it down. Having gone thru 2 ipv mini's already and using the istick 30 watt for 2 days this has definately become my favorite mini mod the .8 sec firing delay from sleep mode is a very minor annoyance and i wish the 510 was spring loaded. I have to adjust it for a couple of my kayfuns but other than that this is the best in class mod for the price IMHO. Only other mod in this category that has my curiosity peaked is the sigelei mini 30w but even that one is larger than the cloupor mini.

Depends on what you're looking for. For most, they want the best bang for their buck and that would be the Samsung 25R or LG HE2. Both can be had for under $15/pr shipped on Amazon and eBay. The Samsung performs a hair better than the LG but that could also be manufacturing variances. I got a great deal on 5 LG HE2's so I bought them when I was looking for Samsungs (I had 3 LG's and wanted to try Samsungs). The Sony VTC's are great batteries but very hard to come by and $$$$ when you do. IMO, not worth it with Samsung and LG batteries are easily found and cheap.

There are only a few companies that actually manufacture batteries, Sony, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Sanyo (might be one more). The rest are re-labeled batteries.

I dig the pair of LGs I have. Get a good day and a half with my Vamo/Kayfun around 12-15w.. Still kinda want to try the Samsung's though.. Hopefully they keep their capacity longer than the battery in my Galaxy phone did hah!
I'm not sure what type of hrs I should actually be getting but I bought 2 brand new samsung 25R and I get anywhere from 8 to 12 hrs time off 1. I am vaping between 12 to 15 watts most the time and my draws are every bit 10 to 12 sec most the time. I hit it a lot. But chain vaping but not mediocre either.
I think I was expecting longer life but I'm not complaining. Each user is going to have different experience depending on their own setup.
I'm extremely happy with my setup and now just trying to decide between the kanger nano and kanger mini for a new tank.
Personally for me this is the best purchase to date for a mod.

You're doing good there man. I get about 2-4 hours out of my LG HE's, usually around 25 watts with 5 second or so lung hits on Atlantis or Subtank.
Good to know. Thanks
I figured it was OK but with my istick while most people talked about getting over a day I was getting 8 hrs if I was lucky. Now I can get 3 days or more cuz it just sits most the time lol

I agree with Major911 after 2 days with the cloupor mini. It's very solid in material and finish. heavy and much more of a dense feel compared with istick, none of the way the istick feels like multiple parts of different material being assembled together. Kind of like the feel of a single piece aluminum mac laptop if you are familar, zero flex or creak. The solidness is evident if you slide the battery cover down a half inch and let the magnets snap it back into place, a satisfying and addictive snap -- here I'll make the analogy of a 1980s ford car door slaming shut versus a similar era honda (before american manufacturing quality came back) -- snap! no clunk, no noise as the cover finds it's place, just one tight click as one part finds its perfect seat with the other. Yes, I have a very slight play sideways if I torque the battery cover to try to find it, it does not occur in regular use.

The .8 second delay from sleep: It's there, I feel like you either fall into the unconscious habit of clicking the fire button when you pick it up after a while as I did, eliminating the perceived delay or it will annoy you until you do.

Adjustable non-spring pin: Fit everything I threw at it no problem. I made one adjustment only between a series of kayfuns. As phil mentioned, the way the center pin assembly is installed it is raised just a tiny quarter mm above the surrounding device body. OCD folk may care; I don't. The pin and threads seems extremely solid, back-threading to start putting a topper on yields a tight, audible click that feels and sounds as solid if not a little more than on the vaporshark, not sloppy and soft like the istick20.

Battery life: Samsung 22r lasted all day and into the evening when I swapped it out with meter showing about 1/4 full.

Outside finish: it really seems impervious to fingerprints and as scratch resistant as my vaporshark dna30. I have scratched my VS a little through my own fault, so far no issues on the cloupor. It's very grippy in the hand and has the batter cover pips and the ribbing on the side. I don't feel I would want a skin on it since it feels so good in hand. It's a little wider than the istick, pretty much exactly same as vs 30. Rounded edges but still square. Great size and feel.

Oh. My up/down buttons have the slightest of rattles when I shake the device. fire button has no rattle or movement. Power settings and accuracy seem right in line with the Vaporshark. For me, this is a big winner.

You shipping whiners don't know how convoluted the USPS is until you've been in my shoes. I ordered on January 7th. My mini went from Virginia to Florida where it stayed basking in the sunshine until yesterday. I'm in Alaska 8-o. It should be here by Friday I'm told. (Depending on how much that turtle has strapped to his back). Not the seller's fault.

In the meantime, can somebody tell me if this thing vapes a bit on the "hot" side? It's supposed to go down to 3.6v but I don't think it has "step down" so 3.7 might be the bottom limit if it's accurate. (which I can handle). I want this thing more for the other features rather than for the 30 watt capabilities.

Have one in black headed my way in USPS, I finally pulled the trigger after a couple of months' agony with my Vamo V5. Saw PBusardo's review and all of the talk here, and I'm optimistic. The .8 second delay shouldn't be an issue for me, especially after my soon-to-be-arthritic thumb recovers from all of the times the Vamo shut itself off or reset due to the connection issues. The Vamo became too much - the size, the reliability, loose connections, etc ad nauseum. I'm hoping the Cloupor will serve as a workhorse better than the Vamo has, will update after I receive it and put it through its paces.

Its doesn't hit hotter than it should, but 3.6 or 3.7 is bottom limit-- no step down. For clearos and kayfuns you may find it best to have a 1.8 coil or more. Same as the evolv board

I have 2 nautilus minis with 1.6 coils and 3 kayfun's that I build to 1.4-1.5 10-12w firing spot on.

It does step down to 3.6v. A full battery is 4.2v. It won't fire below 3.6v though. That should be enough step down for almost everyone.

The Vamo will shut down or reset with a bad battery. When I first got my V5, I only had 18650's for my flashlights and they're not high amp batteries so the V5 would shut off or reset all the time. I bought a pair of Efest 20a batteries and that solved my issues but the 510 did suck. I have 2 (1 brand new) that I don't use. I found I like box mods way more than tube mods.
