Dont jump ship just yet folks. just because there are issues with a company doesnt mean a deal cant be worked out, or another company found that will work the same deal. Shek is doing what he can to work a deal to get this price and our support can help to keep things going. Just remember that things like this wont always come up if no one receives support in putting a deal together.

count me out. thanks though for trying

Babye seantex, cya in Lavaland!

Yes, I'm negotiations with another supplier.

Have been for several days, but focused my attention to L-Rider because they're the originating manufacturer and their prices were slightly lower.

But that's not to say that I can't get a stellar deal with another supplier.

It just means that I wasted 12 days of negotiations with L-Rider.

If you can get another deal going for around the same price I'm in for a 18650.

Ya never know with China....

I may even get a better deal from a supplier, as mass interest is the true bargaining factor!

I'm not just one lone dude (even though I am) that's buying a large shipment, I'm a host for a cooperative.

HUUUGE difference in the eyes of the supplier because it's involving the end user and not a reseller stocking inventory!

Salemgold is correct!

I understand your excitement Keys, but it's not a good idea to send ANY company, that you or I have never done business, a large sum of unsecured funds. And especially not to a company overseas! Cuz that entity could quite literally take the money and RUN and we'd have absolutely no leverage to get it back.

OR, if L-Rider sent all defective products, we're SOL.

It's not like I can call the local Police department and report fraud & theft, cuz I'm not a Chinese citizen and/or I don't live in China.

I've been assuming all along that there wouldn't really be any warranty recourse on these coop units, because typically the warranty would be handled by the vendor rather than the manufacturer. if you are looking at 70% off the price of a kit, that's a chance I'm willing to assume. Use it till it's dead, then dispose of properly. I was thinking if people involved in this were concerned about a warranty, then they should buy 2. That way you have a replacement if one is DOA.

I'm still in for at least one red or black 18650. It's a great deal, but I still am saving for a Root Beer Buzz Pro because I think it's a better device for me, but for 30 bucks plus shipping and a couple other small fees for a kit, it's a GREAT deal. It's like basically buying 2-18650's and a charger (assuming that's what comes with kit), and getting a LT for like 5 or 6 bucks. If the LT is dead, or lives a short life so what.

I'll stick around and see how it plays out. Keep me in for one of each since it looks like extender cap isnt going to be an option =)

Why is the extender cap not an option?

I'm negotiating in CHINA!

You can get almost anything from anyone there, man.

DOA means dead on arrival.

Services like Escrow would prevent any defective merchandise from being accepted.

And yes, your warranty would fall on me as I'd be the only person that could send back your unit for replacement.

So in a coop, there's NO WARRANTY!

My main concern is not receiving any duds and that everyone's goods have been tested and checked for functionality PRIOR to shipment, just as any other trustworthy vendor would do.

But unless I were to host a permanent coop (never ending orders) for LT's, there's no returns.....just how it is, sorry.
