Well, the Duty Calculator has it classified as an electronic toothbrush -- It says "DutyCalculator users have classified electronic cigarette as Health Care -> Electric Toothbrushes." at the top -- but you can change the classification for Electronic Cigarette, to fine tune it. Duty Calculator allows you to enter the actual item, but adjust the classification. The nice part is that Duty Calculator gives it the toothbrush classification by default, since that is what was most used. So, maybe that one is working best. Plus, it is fune to say Duty Calculator, for those of us that are childish.

Actually, it's up to L-Rider which HS code they use, but I still need to check their HS codes to be sure that I'm not going to run into "problems" from poor a classification.

My main concern with the codes is not a seizure though, as it's expected. It's the duties and taxes that I have to calculate and determine where the cut-off line is for the HS code that L-Rider is going to use.

But I did bookmark this Duty Calculator....

When I officially open the first coop, this thread will close....and everyone that in it that's still wants an LT will get an LT.

Believe me, I'd have much rather included everyone on one giant coop, but I can't....cuz I'm not in control!!

The ECF is the absolute authority here and I follow their instructions....PERIOD!

You don't have to leave, Kat....or Hairball or anyone else that wants an LT at cost.

Assuming everything goes well in the first one and the ECF approves more coops without a major restriction, it shouldn't take long at all for the next bunch after the first one is complete.

But like I've already stated, it's not up to me to decide just how many coops I have to run to satisfy everyone's orders.....

If they don't appriciate the effort that has been put into this coop then it's better that they are gone IMO.
Another point.....when this coop started it was for a $30.00 LT as I understand it's now down to $20.00. If they want to go by the origional post they should still have to pay the $30.00 while we all pay $20.00.

Do you have any proof anything has been done except talk? DO you know for a fact it is 20.00?? no you don't, there are no documents posted no MOQ's and no OTHER companies listed that make this VV mod or one better. As for effort, ha, I can say all the things shek has and have done nothing but watch tv while making up crap. Proof is in the pudding as they say pics or it didn't happen.

On another note what pisses me off about this whole random pick crap is the co-op is NOT even open yet. When a co op opens people post what they want, how many, and when the limit is reached it is closed. PERIOD! You don't get in on it then you wait and hope there is another one. There has been alot of interest in this and it to say that random people are going to get one even after they have been following it for months is WRONG.

PS there is a new VV Tube mod With an OLED screen in a kit with batts. Seek and you shall find.

If you're #140, wouldn't passing up the first co-op, and being guaranteed the second co-op, be better?

I think the random 100 is a little unfair...

That being said, if you're actually in here cause a lavatube is what you need right away, I don't understand why you're here. I mean if you really want a Lt and need a LT, go get a LT and quit complaining. But I think it's totally worth going about your lives, being a little patient, and one of these days getting in on a sweet deal for a solid device for a really good price.

Stop relying on Shek to make or break your vaping life, he's just looking out for us, he doesn't owe us anything, and he's doing it out of the kindness of his heart...and I think a lot of you need to lighten up...

If it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't and stop making something that is supposed to be a fun coooo-oooppp...(say it with me)...oopperation...of the ecf community...be a total bummer...

I haven't worked out all of the details yet with Joker about how he's gonna handle the selection, but since he voltunteered to help....y'all know how much I appreciate volunteers.

Once Joker pulls the numbers (however he chooses to handle that selection process) then those members will be notified via PM that they've been selected to participate in the first coop.

If someone drops out, another member will be selected and PM'd....

But if someone chooses to drop out of the first one and wait to see how things work out, I'm not gonna kick you out for being leary....so if those parties still want to be inlcuded in future coops, I'm perfectly fine with your choice.

But the people that are being removed from the interest list entirely....well, I wish you good luck in your search for whatever it is you're looking for...cuz clearly it isn't here!

Canadians are allowed only if they have someone in the US to get it sent to. Thank God I have someone. I won 2 brand new kits recently on another forum so I'm feeling lucky anyways... gonna buy a lotto ticket tomorrow Come at me, random draw!

A 100 person limit might be prudent despite delays for other buyers in the event that there are any problems with the order or any kinks to work out in the ordering process. It takes a lot of work to set everything up in the first place but in the future co-ops could (presumably) go much faster.

I originally wanted to have a Canadian volunteer as sub-host to accept a shipment from L-Rider directly and disburse those orders to all of the Canadian members.

But I can't do it on the first one as it causes a serious logistics problem and would likely put me significantly over the limitations that the ECF has set for this first coop.

Canadian customs is also a major concern as I was advised by a trustworthy and respected member that a seizure was likely for such a shipment.

But if the ECF approves a volunteer to sub-host, and the Canadian members are willing to take the risk, then I don't have a problem with your willingness to give it a shot....

Just not for the first coop.
