They are like most suppliers, and just put up what they are told. I've worked with Liberty Flights for a long time, and they are have always been good people, but the suppliers of the VV LT's are all confused. If you let them know, they will correct it.
Why bother?
They should know what they're selling before they advertise a lie!
It also shows their credibility and knowledge about the product they're selling.
Cuz anybody with half a brain knows that IMR's don't have protection circuits!!
Even though their prices are fair and their CS is good, if they don't have a CLUE what they're selling, their ad speaks "DANGER, buying from us could be hazardous!"
But just to make my point MORE CLEAR, for those that do not like reading the truth, allow me to explain what happens when a supplier trusts what China tells them, without verifying it first...in 4 INFAMOUS words:
Volcano AW Battery Recall
When Volcano discovered how badly they'd been duped by China, in caused serious damage to their otherwise stellar reputation and credibility.
Why? Because their customers had to tell them that their AW batteries were fakes! (AW doesn't sell to China & they don't make a flat-top IMR 18650)
Volcano not only took massive product losses, but it harmed their reputation considerably.
