Colder weather vaping

Since it has gotten colder, the SS drip tip is frigid at times. The plastic ones I have are too long or too short and don't match the carto color. So I decided cut a hole in a carto rubber, slide it on and give it a go. I like the feel, sort of like a cig? Anyhow, I wonder if anyone has any good ideas for how to make a hole? I used an exacto and it is not very exact. Also tried to melt a hole without success. Any ideas? Thanks.

Get a metal tube in the size hole you want from the hardware store. File the end so it is fairly sharp. Stick it in the carto condom and lay it on a piece of wood and whack it with a hammer.

Thats almost exactly what my local e-cig shop does for trying out new flavors. They just have a bunch of carto rubber caps and it appears to be a paper "hole puncher" that makes them. Never seems to be exactly center, but it works. I like Bubbajoe's idea though! Only thing to worry about is marking the surface your using full of tiny circles!

buy a rubber tip. The metal ones will always feel cool/cold at first. Plastic is a little better. You can buy almost any size and shape and material tip you want.

Almost forgot you can buy heat shrink put it over a metal tip and us a lighter or high wattage blow dryer to shrink it over the metal tip. You can buy heat shrink in clear, black and red and sometimes in other colors. I use to be an Electronics tech. So I have done this with my one metal tip.

Thanks for the suggestions! That leather hole punch is only like $3! May have to get one of those. Have a black rubber drip tip but it collects dust like mad. I like the idea of using the carto rubber because they come with all my cartos, fit perfectly and they were previously just sitting in a bag. Did I mention that the slight spongy feeling feels sorta like a cig filter? Oh and thanks but I won't be needing any knitted booties there, old one.

Take the end off a dead carto, slip the condom on, set it condom side down on a hard surface, take one hammer and tap the battery end of the carto and be amazed as it punches holes for you!

Another beast idea. I just did it using a DOA atty that i had. It worked perfectly. Free and easy. Thanks bro.
