I thought I saw a thread on this previously, but in searching can't seem to find anything.

With the success of my quitting smoking myself - I convinced my fellow Directors to do a initial purchase for 8 of our staff who smoke. In the past we'd paid for hypno therapy, cessation program, etc - with no real results. I have a Provari...but we aren't going to hand those out for expense reasons. :) So my basic thinking is I'd like to get at least 1000mah battery, variable voltage, a few juice holders (clearomizers?), and 1 or 2, 30 ml bottles of juice for each of these staff.

What I seem to be settling on are the ego twists and will do a kit. My question is whether or not it will accept a 510 type cartomizer or say a 1.5 ml DCT type tank...and if so, would that be a good option for noobs in my company who need something extremely simple. I'd like to get them set up so they could go 30 days without needing additional items to use.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. I'm looking forward to converting these people away from smoking. ;)

Ego devices are still threaded for 510, they just have extra outer threading in addition to it, so you are good there.

Now if you're asking where to find a kit for it all,I can name three places.

Smokecignals, sweet-vapes, and vapors-choice.

Of the three, smokecignals hands down has the better juice, but if you're looking for cost effectiveness, vapors choice is probably your better option, sweet vapes is in between both of them on price, and the juice is slightly better than VC.

Personally, I'd go with the better juice vendor as that is going to be what they taste, and the better juice gives a better opportunity for them to attempt a quit.

Hi DJ
You're a great employer. Good for you.

I've been vaping for over a year now & I think it's really important for newbies to have something simple to start off with. That said, I don't think variable voltage is a simple concept for beginners. I would stick with the straight voltage of either an Ego (3.4 v) or Kgo (3.7 v) kit.

I have spent lots of time in the last year learning about voltage, resistance, watts, pg/vg ratios, nic strength, etc. I have read copious pages at battery university.com. Trust me on this...most people will not do that. They just want to vape (or smoke).

So keep it as simple as possible. New folks seem to like the clearomizers. I don't. But that's because I know more now.

Thanks for listening/reading & good luck to your company. Sounds like a great place to work.

Your friend,
Bullette the Cowdog vaping away on a REO.

I would contact several vendors and see what kind of deal you can get. I wouldn't buy "kits" I would figure out what I wanted and buy in "bulk".

I don't really want to sit down and figure that out. :) I'd prefer it just all be (or most of it) in a kit...even if the cost is a bit more. I'm kinda lazy like that.

Good point... I'm trying to think how I would progress (though I'm a bit more gungho about learning)... I researched and bought a VV out of the gate...I knew it would not need replacing until something revolutionary came out. I think some people here might be like that and say in 45 days of using be at a point where they dig it enough to be wanting that flexibility. I'll research a bit on the fixed volt though.

When I finalize and get whatever that device/supplies are...I was planning on holding a training session in our training room and cover setup, maintenance, terminology. All the stuff that I spent weeks trying to compile.

Wow. Awesome. A training session. Hmmmm. Will it be compulsory attendance? LOL (with a wink)

Haha...if they want their {edit} then yes. :) I'm pretty impressed/happy/thrilled with my success...but I know that people won't do the proper research to use and setup their stuff. I figure if I spend 30 mins explaining how to charge, fill, troubleshoot and maybe throw out some juice vendors for resupply it'll maybe have a higher chance of success. I'll post back how it all goes.

I would recommend the Kanger T3 for a new person. I've been vaping for a month or so and wasn't very impressed with the ViVi. Mine leaked all over and was kinda bulky with my ego battery. The Kanger T3 is flush with the battery and no leaks. Nothing like having nic-juice in the bottom of your purse

Also when it comes to liquids, I would suggest getting a large bottle of it (I know Mt Baker Vapor sells huge bottles) and splitting it up in 10 ml bottles for your employees - save a few bucks. - For example a 236ml bottle at MBV is $35.00 (23 bottles @ 1.50 ea) while a 10 ml bottle is 4.99. So you can give everyone a few bottles of juice.

I also agree with bullette. The twist is a bit confusing to get the correct voltage to vape at. The regular ego might easier to have them learn on. There are several places that have them fairly low priced.

PS - you're an awesome boss!

From discountvapors .....
8 Mini Novas $56
8 usb Chargers $48
16 ego twists 900mAh $352
Total.. $456

Depending upon menthol or standard, order some large 100ml bottles of juice from MBV and split into smaller bottles.

Great & easy starter kits, lots of juice, way under budget, and 8 ex-smokers. win win win. :)
