Why should he do any changes?
He collected the most money that ever been collected by any canditate for his campaign.

That money was given to him, because they entrusted him as the one who will not do any real changes.

Your task is: watch their media, and elect the next one they want you to, instead of the one that they have "amortised". And be happy when you succeed. Enjoy your democracy.

Those who would have done real changes have fallen early for lack of support by the ever ruling moneymans and (consequently) by the media.

He has accomplished nothing in his role as a public servant!

No record on any positive change anywhere is his career!

Once again, this is simply not true. First of all it's a relative thing you've said, and i am sure from your perspective what i am about to say means nothing to you. If you like you can just hit the reply button right now and continue spewing beligerant half-truths.
Obama (along with Republican Tom Coburn) actually introduced the coburn-obama transparency act in 2006, which is, in my opinion, a very worthy piece of legislation. Here is a summary of the cota:

This new legislation (pdf) would allow USASpending.gov visitors to view copies of Federal contracts, as well as information about competitive bidding, earmarks, government lease agreements, work quality, Federal audit disputes, any violations or criminal activities, Federal tax compliance, and government reports. It would also improve website searchability, provide a method to report errors, ensure data accuracy, and require a quality audit of the website every six months.

So in essence it expands the transparency and validity of our budget spending by using the internet. This is just one example of Obama making a positive change in the United States senate but there are many more examples of this from when he worked in the Illinois state senate from 1997-2004.

In conclusion, if you can say that Obama is an overtly terrible politician, socialist, black supremacist, marxist, or whatever with a straight face, you just don't know what you are talking about and should probably refrain from speaking publicly about Barack Obama, except in the presence of other, equally ignorant, individuals.

I think he'll be a good president, but he's been dealt a tough hand.

Anyway, you are stuck with him at least for the next 4 years, so just wait and see. With a bit of luck he will be just a politician like the rest of the pack and nothing dramatic will happen apart from his clan being much richer than before. Maybe even his sibling in Kenya or wherever will have a part in the American wealth;)

OK. Family values of the politicians i am familiar with are rather different. The whole families, relatives and friends of the Oh Elected One become rich, and not just in money. My mother-in-law´s sister knows somebody who is a close friend of a man who used to be Minister of Health. When the tragedy struck, he intervened in the hospital and my wife survived together with the kid. Good man it was, a not a bad minister, either. he was pushed from the government when media discovered his psychiatric secialization was treatment of peopl who must not be treated today at all because their diagbosis was deleted from the list - and he had quite a success, which is a killer nowadays;) Almost lost a profesorship, too. The only good politician I knew. The only one I feel indebted. All the rest could be shot using the old Austrian system of decimation periodically...

There must be really hard times coming for the U.S. economy and society if they make a "really nice guy" (and Black) like Obama a President. The worldwide financial crisis the very rich type Americans introduced by their stupid turbocapitalism last years will hit back as a big ****storm and hitting mid&down-class people hard.
So a guy like Obama is needed in charge to keep the U.S. people calm in their suffering for the next years.
Good Luck. Arms won't help You.

Conservative Republican here :)

Whether we agree to disagree, I have no issues with the left side. Everyone has a right to their own political views, which makes America beautiful.

I love this country, and respect any and all individuals that have/are/or will run the country some day. I may not agree, but respect is indeed there.

On a side note, I am happy to see the job President Obama has done thus far. I would have liked to seen less government spending/pork within the new stimulus package but hey ... Beggars can't be choosers. A majority of our country needed it so I'm happy it was passed. I do disagree that government creates jobs ... In fact, 60% of jobs are created by Small Business Owners ;)

Carry on everyone! Enjoy life .. and treasure one another!

I'm a registered Independent and consider myself a moderate. I'm also an amateur historian having read approximately 300+ books on political and military history. I believe most Americans are woefully uninformed on what a President can & can't do and where he can most influence positive or negative change. Unfortunately Americans mostly vote their pocketbooks which is where a President's influence is minimal. Even under extreme circumstances such as the Great Depression, Roosevelt's policies (although they were the right direction at the time) did little to end the Depression - only WWII did that. Where a President has the most power is in the area of national defense and foreign policy. That is what any "thinking" American should consider when voting for the President. As difficult as the economy is right now (and I'm in the real estate industry so it really is hurting me) a terrorist attack on our country with WMD is what any President MUST do whatever is necessay to prevent. Our recession will be a "nit" if several million Americans are gone in an instant. I wish our new President well and can only hope his actions on national defense are as strong if not stronger than his rhetoric. If he is smart, he will emulate Teddy Roosevelt (speak softly and carry a big stick) vs Bill Clinton (speak big and do little to nothing).
