I'm with you Vinny. Yes, they have things that are fine and do work but I've ordered from them 3 times and there has been a problem with every order. I won't order from them again.
These came with the last order. I like the little Nanos for my stick batteries for out-and-about so I thought these would be similar. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1356903 I don't know what the connection is, but it is not 510. I opened a ticket and when they got back to me, they asked me to try it on other 510 batteries. This 24 hour ticket response time could go on for weeks. *rolls eyes* Clearos, DCTs, bad.
I wanted a gold K100 and couldn't find one in stock here (couple weeks ago). It came pretty scratched up. They just wanted to know if it works.

The juice is nasty. I mean melon flavor tobacco oil. I went back for more Ce4s. I found them to be no better and no worse than my genuine vision stardusts. at $4.35 a peice. I can say that I would be reluctant to a big peice of hardware above a simple eGo battery.

The big mods get the best feedback on here, eg the MVP and Vamo.
What juice brand did you try?

I've never purchased from them as I prefer to deal locally, face to face. Just recently I purchased four iClear 30s. Out of the four one was dead out of the box, one lasted less than a week and the other two are still going strong.

I visited the dealer last week and told him my experience and that I wanted to buy some new heads to rebuild the two failures and have on hand for the inevitable future failures. I didn't blame him, the stuff is mass produced and it's going to happen.

He sold me the replacement heads for a very good price and gave me two 30mL bottles of juice for my trouble. I call that above and beyond, and will continue to do business with him.

so far 5 orders no problems. blaming fast tech directly for doa is not fair. while i dont think mods should come all beat up. cheap junk is cheap junk.
theres a thread right now about ce4's from a reputable vendor not working.

every day on here there is stories about clearos and cartos not working and people getting broken or doa stuff. most vendors tell you no replacement either. even well known products and proven brands.
did you really think you were getting a vision nova for 4 bucks? these are most likely smok versions and they are already well known to suck.

for every customer service horror story i see i see 3 more about how fasttech took great care of them.

I think you just gotta know what you're getting into b4 ordering. I would just automatically assumr the cheapo catro/clearos from there are worthless. The Protanks are the only ones I'd get (well maybe the Evods), but then again, I use strictly rba's so I wouldn't be getting any clearos to begin with. The batteries and rba's I've gotten from them are great though. Got the Nimbus clone in today, trashed the stock coil and tossed the hex set screws and replaced those with some phillips head screws and I couldn't be happier! It's hard to mess up a mech mod or rba to the piont of unusability, but a clearo is a different story.

From what I have seen there are very few customer service horror stories, people post a problem they have had (eg dead clearo, faulty battery etc) but then don't post about how FT dealt with them.

With my issue they checked with the manufacturer to see if there was a solution. They then offered a full refund, the only hassle was they asked me to find the cheapest cost to return the battery rather than providing a free return label but are refunding the full cost.

About the mods, you most likely know better than I. That was my suspicous doubts coming out. As for the e-liquid it was ...I thought Dekang but i just checked the bottle. It did not say anything as to a brand name. They used turpentine as a medium, or so it tastes, that opinion I will stand by!

i agree i already avoid clearos and cartos as is anyways. i have every dripper fasttech sells and they all rock, some are pretty nicely machined as well.

and yea with the liquid, i had my fill of china liquids last year , i dont care if it is a brand name im not vaping ground up seahorses lol.

I haven't dared to try the no name e liquids so I will trust your judgement, if its cheaper than sea water then I have suspicions.

The Liqua is $5.6 for 30ml and is good value at 1/3 of the cost to buy it locally.

I have tried their Dekang juice and their Hangsen Crentia juice, because I wanted to taste the original RY1 and RY4. They were both fine. They both tasted like each other, but they were fine. No turpentine scent, no horrible taste. Just not as tasty as I would want to vape. So I'm out less than $5 for both bottles, and lesson learned. I have not purchased Liqua or the un-named "smoke oil with tar" that is for sale on the site.

Everything I have bought from FT has worked. It may leak later, or crack, but out of the box they all work. Even the Evods. Even though the head unscrews from the base and stays in the tank when you try to take off the bottom. It's an annoyance, but I paid $16 for an Evod from the b&m in town, I paid less than $4 for these. I'm willing to put up with annoyance.

If I were to have something come DOA, I would probably be a little upset about it, no matter who I got it from or how much it cost. I buy things expecting them to work. I have had a vendor replace a Leo battery after over a month of use when it died. I was seriously surprised by their offer, as in, I never expected them to replace it. I have avoided buying from places that don't have a DOA warranty.

To each his own. :2c:

This post is kinda the point of the main FT thread, share your experiences so people can make a more informed decison.

When folks say for example that the juice sucks I want to know exactly which bottle of juice is being talked about(they have at least 4 diff brands)

It's costing me 1.2cents/ml to make my own e-liquid, so I'll let you figure out what you think a bottle of juice should cost, but not knowing the source, or grade, of their ingredients would bother me. The bottle the juice comes in probably costs more than the juice a vendor puts in it.

Personally, I haven't ordered anything from Fasttech because I have no need to.

Then again, I just ordered some juice from Pink Spot because my kid gave me a gift certificate for fathers day. $50 for juice that would have cost me about 70 cents to make

I thought I was shopping mom and pop until I realized my go to vendor has $1 million plus gross sales. My mom and pop didn't make that kind of cash.

I agree with you that fasttech has allot of junk products, but they also have allot of great products. Most of what I have purchased from them has been great. Love my MVP, K100, Panasonic batteries, and the cheapie ego batteries I pick up for new vapers. I have not ordered many of their ce4+'s, but I have noticed that I can count on 1 in 5 being bad. They have replaced them when I actually bothered to report them. But I usually just part the one bad one per order and use the head, base, and tip to replace worn out ones.

I will say though that just because a local vendor has $1 million plus in gross sales, doesn't mean that it is not a mom and pop. Depending on what markup they do, that 1 million can quickly turn into 300k actual gross margin. Then remove rent, utilities, wages, taxes, etc and that 300k can turn into less than 100k per year for the owners. I have run my own business before, and even with 1.8 mill in gross sales my last year, my partner and I could barely make ends meet. Sold out to my partner after 3 years of struggling to make it, and he in turn sold it to a competitor after another 3 years.

I find the site easy enough to navigate?

How do you know your approach is working well when you haven't tried the alternative?

I don't really understand your question. My approach is working. I didn't say anything other than that wouldn't. Their website looks like garbage to me. That's just my opinion. The fact that my approach is working is not debatable because I have always been satisfied with the vendors I use. That doesn't mean fasttech couldn't be one of those vendors eventually, for some things. I just like to support certain vendors who are helping our community here and want them to succeed. That's all really. I'm sure fasttech has some good things going on.
