I always do test orders. I buy one of several things if they work well I order a bunch otherwise I look elsewhere. This applies stateside too. fasttech has some good products but like everything else some not so good. They still haven't posted my negative review of the vivi nova 5. It looks great just doesn't work for crap.

I've had very good luck with everything I have gotten from there from the CE6s to the Vivi Novas. The thing is they didn't come perfect from fasttech, but with some very simple tweaking, such as snipping the wicks or other small nuances and they work flawless. In fact all of the CE6s are my go to clearos when other items aren't up to par!

I think sometimes on this thread the product needs to be separated from the vendor.
e.g. Dekang - if you hate Dekang that's ok - that's your taste buds. But Dekang is a brand carried by other vendors too. Its not a specifically Fasttech ejuice. So no, at this point I wouldn't say FT's ejuices are bad. I'd say some people don't like Dekang.
Same with the vivi novas. If you buy vivi nova clones then you take a risk. Some work, many don't work properly. We've seen that on the forum. Again - FT don't pretend they are selling anything different to what they are, and other vendors sell them too. I won't buy vivi clones because I've had to try and help too many people with them -- clones they bought from other vendors - it happens over and over again. if some-one gets some that actually work then more power to them. But this is not a specifically Fasttech issue either.

Its what shopping for vape gear has become - needing to get feedback from other people on products before buying.
For example, having seen that Thrasher finds the RBAs at FT good is a heads up for me. I might get some in a while.

I'm not going to read every post, since there's fans and then there's the anti-chinese products people, so i'll offer my two cents.

well see, the thing is, they aren't strictly an e-cig vendor. They probably aren't vapers and probably aren't personally aware of the quality or lack thereof of some of their more affordable offerings. I've found my k100 kit to be fantastic, and the couple of backup for the backup atomizers i've purchased are behaving just fine for the price point. Of course there's only so many ways you could possibly screw up a phoenix style.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. I paid a low price and got decent stuff. I'm happy.

I think FT is great for batteries and clearos. I buy the cheapest ce4s ($8.08 for 6) and am very happy with them. Some have been vaping for 2 + months. I keep them dedicated by juice so I don't have to clean them or fiddle with them. When they stop working or start leaking, I take the tip off to save, pour the juice back in a bottle and toss them. Cheaper than cartos, less stress than tanks. The Novas were hit and miss. I found out I don't really like ANY Novas, real or knockoff. Too much fiddling and leaking.

As far as juice goes...WHAT do people expect from no-name juice? DeKang and Liqua sold in the US is the same. If FT says "authentic," then it is. Liqua, altho a bit weak, is a GREAT deal---$5.00 for 30ml? Free shipping? Already steeped because of the 2 week arrival date? CANNOT beat that deal with a stick---IF YOU LIKE LIQUA.

The great thing about FT is that it is bringing enormous price hikes DOWN in a number of vendors. Knowledge by the consumer is power, and if the consumer knows just how cheap these devices are, the vendor has no choice but to lower their prices to a reasonable mark-up.

Just because you buy some things at the "Dollar Store" doesn't mean you also forgo purchasing other things from Walgreens. Q-tips are Q-tips...

My first order from FT took 2 weeks to get here. I accidentally bought 5 ce4's that were throw aways and didn't realize that when I bought replacement heads for them. The heads are funky anyway, rubber comes up over the metal tip. 3 of the five ce4's didn't work, the ego chargers (2) of em, one worked for a week and the other one is still going after a month. The ego 650 is still chugging along after a month. I decided to try again though, just purchased a few tips, ce6's and replacement heads and some ego batteries and we'll see how that goes...

just hit and miss I guess...

I have tried their Dekang juice and their Hangsen Crentia juice, because I wanted to taste the original RY1 and RY4. They were both fine. They both tasted like each other, but they were fine. No turpentine scent, no horrible taste. Just not as tasty as I would want to vape. So I'm out less than $5 for both bottles, and lesson learned. I have not purchased Liqua or the un-named "smoke oil with tar" that is for sale on the site.

Everything I have bought from FT has worked. It may leak later, or crack, but out of the box they all work. Even the Evods. Even though the head unscrews from the base and stays in the tank when you try to take off the bottom. It's an annoyance, but I paid $16 for an Evod from the b&m in town, I paid less than $4 for these. I'm willing to put up with annoyance.

If I were to have something come DOA, I would probably be a little upset about it, no matter who I got it from or how much it cost. I buy things expecting them to work. I have had a vendor replace a Leo battery after over a month of use when it died. I was seriously surprised by their offer, as in, I never expected them to replace it. I have avoided buying from places that don't have a DOA warranty.

To each his own. :2c:

16 bucks for a evod really?

It's costing me 1.2cents/ml to make my own e-liquid, so I'll let you figure out what you think a bottle of juice should cost, but not knowing the source, or grade, of their ingredients would bother me. The bottle the juice comes in probably costs more than the juice a vendor puts in it.

Personally, I haven't ordered anything from Fasttech because I have no need to.

Then again, I just ordered some juice from Pink Spot because my kid gave me a gift certificate for fathers day. $50 for juice that would have cost me about 70 cents to make

I never really understood this mentality. Yeah, it costs you 70 cents to make that juice. Do you DIY everything else too? My $500 Brooks Brothers suit would probably cost me $50 if I bought the material and sewed it myself. My $3k stereo would have probably cost me $500 if I built every piece to it myself.

So a 30ml bottle of juice costs 15 cents in materials. It costs a company like Mt Baker or Halo a lot more to make it than just the cost of ingredients. Lease/mortgage, utilities, taxes, employee wages and benefits, etc. all add to the cost.

Sorry, I'm not trying to single you out personally. It just gets old hearing people bash companies for charging money for their time and overhead. God forbid if a company tries to turn a profit.

For the record, I'm not affiliated with any company. I also don't make my own juices because I don't have the time, energy, patience, non-liquid materials nor any desire to handle the liquids. In at the end of the day, I highly doubt my juices would truly taste better than the stuff I vape.

To each their own. Rant over.

I picked up some CE6's, 5 DCT tanks, a vivi nova and some replacement heads for the CE6's/VIvi.

The DCT's frankly are performing BETTER than my genuine BOGE F17 tank. BUT I did not use the Dual coil carto that came with it I used my own Boge carto's.

The CE6's have performed just fine so far.

The Vivi nova and I had a war yesterday then I changed the head from the 4 string one that came with it to the one string replacement I had bought and voila! It vapes fine without dry hits or leaking. I am not in love with the tighter draw and after fighting with it for hours yesterday before changing the head I am not quite ready to trust it but I admit it is doing fine today.

SO over all I am not disappointed. I had fully expected to chuck half of it as DOA when I placed the order. I was pleasantly surprised.

Fasttech isn't alone in selling crap, they don't make it themselves just sell it. They don't really carry anything I use, but I do like to purchase their cheap kits, Vivis etc. to help folks around me quit. 15 bucks for a EGO kit and a Vivi is cheap for possibly saving some ones life. I order a lot of Vivis, heads and etc. I get about the same amount of crap ones as I do from some pretty well known US venders. The difference is when I emailed Fasttech about it, they replied immediately, didn't accuse me of trying to cheat them and sent me replacements with some extras thrown in. And I might add all without fear of my CC number being stolen.

I moved to a small town from a large city, I love being on first name basis with store owners, ditto small vendors I know from ECF...I can email Randy at RTD vapors and if I forgot something he would add it to my order etc. I like picking up the phone, etc.

All these things are worth a few extra bucks to me.

Fasttech is like a big box warehouse store. I guess if you neeed a whole bunch of stuff, good. When I first started vaping I placed a largish order at health cabin, wasn't happy w/one of the products, too much hassle to ship back to china, etc. So---- I guess sometimes it's good, sometimes not.

I'm gonna stick with vendors I know and like, and who have been really really good to me

I think you just gotta know what you're getting into b4 ordering. I would just automatically assumr the cheapo catro/clearos from there are worthless.
That is a good assumption. This is not a bashing thread. I just figured with all the Fasttech fanboys out there, someone needed to tell it like it really is.

I will continue to order some stuff from them, but for a lot of things, you are certainly better off getting them from other vendors at a higher price.

What carto were you looking for?

They do not have any horizontal cartos, none at all, nor do I wish to "put a request" in.. thanks!

Still here trying to pump up FT, eh??

Is there not enough threads that do that?

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ring-getting-fasttech.html?highlight=fasttech

and

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...239-fasttech-all-buzz.html?highlight=fasttech

are the 2 biggest, yet with the way you are posting, in this thread.. you are all for it. What ya doin here, eh?

I got a broken tank, nasty no name and dekang juice, my SM20 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Detachable Dripping Atomizer sputters too much for my liking, my fake ego's, their buttons are starting to stick, yet I gota read how cheap and good it is.

You pay for what you get. Want cheap stuff?? then buy it.. when you get sick and tired of spending money you may or may not can afford, you will think twice.

I suggest you avoid threads with FastTech in the title if they upset you so

Which DCT tanks are they? I'm interested to know as I looked at a few but didn't know how they perform.
