Oh you are using an Ego-T?

It could be primer on the atomizer (new atomizers have primer on them) I don't use tanks but it could be the wick is out of place or just because it's a brand new dry atty with just machine oil on it. If the atomizer coil is getting wet with juice from the tank then just vape it off without inhaling.

And I recommend as alternate ways of vaping you get

1. Boge 510 cartomizers (standard resistance or the hotter Boge LR 2.0 ones, but the standards are easier to learn filling and keeping damp on - they are more forgiving and won't singe as easily). I recommend thin high PG juices (20% VG or less) on stuffing-type cartos. More people use cartomizers than tanks.

2. A 510 atomizer and 510 drip tip (standard resistance or the hotter low resistance)

That way you will have 3 ways to vape. You can get all of the above at LiteCigUSA.net or if Liberty-Flights.com is not out of Boge cartos (they sell out fast) you could get the stuff there. For the drip tip I recommend plastic or delrin just so you can also use it as a comfortable mouthpiece in a Boge cartomizer if you want

umm well that's prolly not gonnah happen :) i heard a horror story about the 510. honestly it's sounding a little like mine lol. honestly i thought the 510 was from a different manufacturer. wasn't till after i shilled out a $100 charge that i saw :) i'm still willing to give this a chance, mostly cuz i hate ........ing myself for $100 :) but i'm gonnah have to get this one working first.

sooo, where is this coil then?

i disconected the unit in the middle by the switch by unscrewing it. i removed the tank and blew through the end that would connect to he battery segment. i may or may not have gotten a drop out of it, idk. it's still burning vcr.

brb going out for a smoke.

Make sure the hole on the bottom the tank is pushed in all the way. When I got my first tank I pushed it in but it didn't snap in all the way and dried up. Now I push my tanks in and give the tank a full twist all the way around. If you're using a brand new ATTY with that tank, that taste takes a while to go away and you start getting your full flavor. Sometimes I can vape through a full tank before I stop tasting that, it's just the oil that's in the atty when it ships. If you're using 100% vg that may be some of the issue too, I've noticed if I get too much VG I'll get a burnt taste out of my eGo-T, I use an 80/20 pg/vg mix.

yeah it's definitly lost about half the tank volume so far so its definitly going somewhere. ya it's prolly 100% vg. i havent mixed it with anything. i have some health concerns about the pg tho. wiki does not paint it a good picture and the fda doesnt like it even a little bit. i'll check the tobaco shop down the street for some alternatives to the vg.

PG is the same inhalent used in the medical field for vaporizing medicine to give to patients. I'm sure neither PG or VG are "good" for you but they're both 100% better for you than analogs. There's a lot of threads on this forum about PG fears, truths, myths....all that good stuff. A good forum search should get you all the info you need. Finish that tank and fill up another, that burnt taste should be pretty much gone and then you won't have to worry about it again until you get a new atty.

i tried to finish off the second tank but its too much, it's just not letting up. the house reeks of sizzling hardware. this isn't just a drop of 40 weight. the smoke is hanging in the air so long its forming a halocline. and i have a headache a mile wide. i haven't inhaled anything since it started acting up. this is too much, i’m sending it back.

cigs are way better for you than burning samsung.

i contacted my doctor, he diagnosed me with metal fume fever and told me over the phone to take some ib and sleep it off. i followed the steps for returns and im still pending resolution, absolutly no responce so far. i contacted them by phone and had a discussion about how they can't resell since it had been used. i think he's missing the point completely that it SHOULDN'T HAD BEEN SOLD IN THE FIRST PLACE, WHY WOULD YOU TRY TO RESELL IT TO ANYONE ELSE ANYWAY!?!?

Hi black...the T is tank...

It sounds like you aren't set up right and are getting dry hits...ick ! Take everything apart....blow out the atomizer into a tissue. Add about 6 drops of your liquid onto the mesh in the atomizer.

Re-fill your tank and re-intstall it...making sure your hear/feel it snap in good. Give it a few testing puffs and see if that tastes better ...

If things taste/smell like scorched metal, stop and re-add a drop or 2 to the mesh bridge in the atomizer.

There is nothing nastier than a dry hit !

    in a cave, eh?
You gotta wonder if the current atomizer is still good or if the wick is burnt. If the wick is burnt, you'll never get a good tasting vape from it.

As previously mentioned, tank atomizers are shipped with primer in them. Blow through the atomizer from the battery connection end into a paper towel to get rid of most of the primer. Then drop 10 drops of juice directly onto your atomizer and give it 10 minutes to soak into the wick.

When you push the tank cartridge into the atomizer, make sure it snaps in all the way; the narrow part of the tank should be completely pushed into the atomizer.

If all you can see in the tank is fumes and no juice, you want to fill up the tank again. You may also be able to taste when the tank is getting dry.

Tanks are really easy to fill, but when you get everything working, you may still experience problems with leaks. You might like to try SmokTech Dual Coil or Boge LR cartomizers, instead. :)
