Pfft, go to Mcmaster-Carr or a good glass vendor and buy a foot or two of the pyrex tubing and make your own, simple to cut simple to polish the edges, save yourself a bunch and have as many as you want.
i just found him last week too, the tanks without the caps are kinda cheesy looking but with the aluminum caps look great, other than being enormous lol

A lathe is one way, but all you need is a tile wet saw to cut the pyrex tubing, done deal. Then yes a torch for the edges, and to anneal, a kiln is probably best to anneal but a flame will work but not as well as a kiln, wet sand, and even jewelers rouge to polish edges if you want, depends on how far you want to take this, seeing your caps cover the end they dont have to be perfect necessarily just smooth, it all depends on how perfect you want to take it.
