Naps are so awesome. CJ's fever has come back though. He doesnt seem sick, just a fever.
The beans arent going to be done in time for dinner. And because of the ice all over the roads, nothing is open to go to dinner. So weve got the oven on getting ready to throw a pizza in.

Yep, I've tried that before. I'm so allergic to shellfish that it doesn't work. I tried it when I had gumbo JUICE, only juice, and turned red from head to toe, wheezing, coughing, broke out in hives and came really close to going to the ER. I now carry an epipen. If I thought it would work, I would be the first to try it.
Y'all aren't very versed in eating Mud Bugs, huh?

speaking of food.....bacon and cheddar baked chicken, lima beans, carrots and brussel sprouts for supper tonight.
I grew up hearing them called 'crawdad'/'crawfish' and 'mud bugs'. It's been normalized. It's really too bad you're allergic to them. They really are good. They're not so widely praised for nothing.

how truly tobacco doesnt make the tobacco list is beyond me. I must try twisted but I feel it trumps voodoo and i have to try raspberry also
I think a very big part of that is Truly Tobacco has only been "out" for a couple, few months.
They probably are still at the PO. It's a semi-automated system. If the item gets scanned too late to go out with the carrier, the system will automatically change it to "Out for delivery" even if it's still in the building. And it will also automatically add "Notice left" even though it never happened.

They're out of stock right now (and I'd be surprised at this time of year if they weren't) but come spring I'm gonna be on that like ugly on an ape. Thanks for the link, JD!
