I love every kind of seafood, shellfish most of all. And crawfish is tied with a live Dungeness crab boil for my all time favorite.
Make sure to suck the head.
I make myself do that with the first couple, but I don't like it, so I quit after that.
I am done for now, so am going home to make coffee! Woo Hoo!!!! Back later on.

Yep, I've tried that before. I'm so allergic to shellfish that it doesn't work. I tried it when I had gumbo juice, only juice, and turned red from head to toe, wheezing, coughing, broke out in hives and came really close to going to the ER. I now carry an epipen. If I thought it would work, I would be the first to try it.

Yes indeed. I found some sausage and sliced it up and added it to the pot. It looks like boudain (sp?) without the rice. I have no idea how its going to taste though.
