It's cold here too. The thermometer says it's 10*, but the sun is shining on it. brrrrr..... I'm ready for summer!
My sister is a southern cook.Nothing better than her fried potatoes,pork chops and green beans...She bakes like a pastry chef.Cream puffs,from scratch Red Velvet,and peanut butter cookies...I miss her cooking...She lives in Cincinnati...Maybe I'll drop in...
I have the puppy out with his Mom and they have the zoomies..I have to put Dixie in her crate for fear they will run over her......she's all mad about it.....
I watched half of the 2nd season of Downton Abbey on Hulu yesterday...I'm planning on watching the other half today...
I'll take your snow.... I miss living where it snows (within reason). I used to live in Eastern Washington. We had a foot or two all winter. That was enough to be a real winter, but not enough that I couldn't get around. Just right.
I'm back. I had kitchen cleaning to do, Mr. V made breakfast.
Last night I watched the show about the guy in Zanesville. The entire thing is still just so sad, but it did explain some of it. I still don't get why he turned them loose though. I guess no one will ever completely understand that part. What shocked me is that his wife was allowed to pick up and take home the animals that survived that night....

I saw that, too! Freaking NUTS!!!! I was also a little perplexed about the wife being able to keep some of the animals- the ones that stayed their asses put, though.
Turns out that Ohio is the most lenient on owning exotics.
Ive been reading and watching Barrett Jackson all morning. Then went to go get a pot from under the counter to cook my rice for lunch and was met with an avalanche of teflon and stainless steel. So I sat on the floor to rearrange it all.
Then I ate too much. Two overflowing bowls of red beans and rice. Now my gut hurts so good. And I want to eat more, but there is zero room left.
