It seems that James killed it.

Good late morning. Hubby got up with Morgan and took her to school so I got to sleep in. Todays agenda consists of housework, taking Morgan to a dr. appt., and taking Ruger to his last puppy class. We'll do the intermediate class in October which will give him time to recoop from his neutering next week and me time to work on some of the stuff he needs to master before the next set of classes.

Really?? the Dells?....
Some of them look more like a prison. The one we are looking at is very small and she gets her own room, which is decorated really nicely, and the rest of the place looks like a high end hotel. I'd choose it for myself, so it will work for her. She'll be living in the Dells. If she doesn't like it, I will show her pics of how she's living now. I took them in preparation for her complaints. I know her well.

Sounds like a decent day Tiff, but I wish Morgan had a friend that would stick up for her.

Good luck Tiff..I hope she's accepted...
I can just imagine what some of the places look like. The two facilities I worked in as a CNA and an Activity Assistant while I was pregnant with Morgan were nice and clean and good care was given. There are sometimes people that get in that line of work to have 'just a job". Those you can pick out pretty quickly...watch them. Most want to do their job because they enjoy taking care of others although it's not an easy job. I hope your MIL likes the new place and it's much better for her, plus you and Mr. V will be closer.

Morgan has one good friend. They both have a lot in common and are understanding of their uniqueness because they both have unique issues.

I just now finished filling out an application for an equine therapy program for Morgan. It's FREE and equine therapy would be wonderful for her. She loves all animals, especially horses and dogs. I hope she gets in. She qualifies from what I can figure out but they might not have the room. I've got the app filled out and am going to call them tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

The old Penn and Teller disappearing act eh? You need a cape from Copper Creek with magical powers...

As good as Monday was I should have known I'd have a sucky Tuesday. :( One bright spot though, the postmaster came up behind the window this afternoon when I was by myself and asked how I was doing. :) All 3 of the guys that should have been around up there had disappeared, and I had to ask the supervisor to help a customer with passport questions. :grr: Thankfully it wasn't all that busy!

PICS...Please??
I'm done mixing and done cleaning! Mr. V is getting the shipping done, then we are out of here! This morning I took a few pics of the baby chicks, but my camera batteries were dying. If they turned out I will post them when I get home. The Spud and Mo chicks are sporting cool mohawks, and the cottonballs are getting super fluffy. Not all over, just here and there.

Isn't that funny...A mama bear and her cubs...
I came out of my shell when I had kids and had to start standing up for their rights and make sure they got what they needed. It's bled over to who I am a bit at times. I still don't like large groups of people and I hate parties. Put me in a room full of people at a party and I end up in the far corner trying to hide. Put me in a room full of people at the school IEP meeting and I take the seat at the head of the table.

Canning is a good skill to know so I've heard. Found a beginners kit I'm gonna buy.

thanks! I can't find anyone I usually buy supplies from that carries that and isn't out of stock on batteries. I need some batteries.

Good luck Tiff..I hope she's accepted...

I just spoke to them and she qualifies! But there's a waiting but she said no one is on the list so far for her age. All I've got to do is get her doctor to sign off on it and msil the paperwork.
