Nice 7 degrees at the shack this morning. The days are getting longer the suns trying to come up at 7 now. Soon wont need the flash light to feed water the Chicks, Quail. That's a good thing.
7 degrees? I think our thermometer must be broke. It showed -4, unless it is colder out here in the boonies.... All I know is I am ready for Spring!

Hi posse... I am wondering if I will ever be warm again. The "heat" in the shop never gets over 40*. That coupled with my leaky boots means my toes are cold. I picked up a doughnut for the kid.... and one for me. Made some hot chocolate. I can get used to this.

Oh. And I'm cold. I dont know how you northerners live in this kind of weather. And Im in the middle of a heat wave compared to most of you.
It was 21 when I got up this morning, but its now 19. Highs in the mid 30's again. "They" are calling for single digits tonight/tomorrow morning. The warmest day in the next ten days is next Saturday. Its also the same day they are predicting some sort of wintery mix.

I am so sorry about Victor.Anything near the eye is scary...I hope the drops work...It's great that he lets you do that.I have to wrestle dogs to take a pill.I would hate to have to put drops in their eyes.When Rums was younger and he had a vets appointment he would clear the receptionist desk of whatever was on it..Everytime...
Stretchy, I'm glad Dixie Kisses finally feels good! Even if she is being awful. Victor has a sore eye, I think he ran into a branch. He's being good about getting eyedrops, and hopefully I won't have to take him in. He always makes a spectacle of us there. Imagine that.

Victors eye looks better this morning so the vets office is spared for today. Victor thinks that he needs to entertain everyone when we go there, he bends in half and hops up and down.
The gals that used to work there found him funny, the new ones are way too serious and frown at us. hmmph.
I love history, I'll go on a field trip to Gettysburg.
