It's a bit overcast here but the temp is nice. Hubby is at work so we celebrated Father's Day with him last night. Tonight the kids and I are going to meet my parents and sister at Cracker Barrel. For now, I'm going to fold laundry and tape up the bathroom to get it ready to paint tomorrow.

My Avatar is MY Dad.He died of lung cancer at 68.He would have switched to vaping had it been available especially if there was a beer flavor juice..LOL

I wish vaping were available for him also. Yes there is a beer flavor.

I managed to get the bathroom taped up with Ruger at my heels. He only took off with the toilet paper down the hall once and stole my roll of tape. Tomorrow I'll paint the bathroom. Hubby is sup posed to be pulling up the master bathroom floor Tuesday. One step closer to getting it finished. My mom is coming over next week to finish up Morgan's room so I'll post before and after pics when done.

SP, got a question for you. Do you know anyything about training a dog as a therapy dog? I'm not talking about a service dog. I'm talking about a therapy dog you would take to hospitals and nursing homes. What are the basic commands I should start with. I groom dogs, not train them. And at what age should I start training for something like this. He seems to be very smart and receptive, when I can keep his attention. I have fallen completely and utterly in love with this dog. The best therapy in the world!

This might help.

That's an awesome idea, Tiff!

When my 13yo was in the hospital there were two therapy dogs that visited her. They were both poodles, and I'd only seen poodle mixes (like cockapoos) so I was shocked at how huge purebred poodles are!!

Anyhow, they made my daughter grin for the first time in days. I imagine it'd be an incredible feeling, to just go from room to room making people smile. :)

Cavaliers are master therapy dogs...They also like Agility and excel at it.The kids might even enjoy it.

Like I said, I'm looking for a basic and advanced obedience class to take first. Then go from there.

I really wish I could afford to have him trained as an emotional support service dog. It would be perfect for our family.

Thank You!!! I continued to let it go out before I put my tank back on.I thought maybe mine worked a little differently..

As soon as I plugged it in, it turned green, so I left it and it eventually went out. Not sure how long it took, I totally forgot to make note of when I plugged it in.
