Ok...got a call from an internal recruiter about a great position about a 10 minute drive from my house. Researched the company, and they look good. She is trying to schedule a phone discussion in the next day or two. Still very early to tell, and a million red flags could crop up that could send me running, but...am I an idiot to consider leaving the Happiest Place?

I was right. 9 hours of work to get 3 hours of work finished. At least now I can keep going and get more stuff out the door.
Coffee guy will be showing up today. Which is a good thing. I am three k-cups away from a mutiny.
And hoorah for being a home owner... the cold water pressure tank on our well has died. I went to use the bathroom last night while Kat was in the shower (separate bathroom) and I could hear the water pressure fluctuating. That means that the pump is kicking off and on, meaning that the pressure tank isnt doing its job, which means that the pump is getting a serious workout, which will burn it up if not fixed soon. We just had the pump replaced about 7 years ago, so we know that its about $2000 for that. And I think that to have the tank replaced will run about $500 after labor. Either way, its going to suck.

We do that too. Each side of the family does one, and each side of the family does it different. One side doesnt open the gift until everyone has one, another side opens the gift when you get it. Sometimes we get good stuff, other times, its absolute garbage.In our family the cut off is 16 too. It's impossible and way too expensive to buy for all of the adults.
We always had a $5 gift exchange among the adults. It was a riot. My favorite was the dancing hula girl that didn't work right from the truck stop. I spent $4, everyone had a blast with the silly thing on Christmas eve. It was so pitiful that it was hysterical. My oldest sister's MIL got it and had it dancing on a cocktail table all night. Part of the exchange is that when your number is drawn you can choose from the pile of wrapped gifts, or steal someone else's. She would not give up that hula dancer.
It would seem that your cheering was more effective than mine. But I cant cheer for the Saints for the same reasons you cant cheer for the Bears.

Rick, I'd at least hear them out. Sonny started his new job last week. He was terrified to change, but the opportunity presented itself, and he got a much better job than the old one. He's been at the old one for over 12 years, so was super freaked out. He's glad he went for it.

It's an in-ground submersible pump. It takes a small drill rig mounted on a truck to retrieve it from the bottom of the well. I'm going to check the pressure on the tank as soon as I get home before we call the well company. Hopefully, it's something as simple as needing to add some air to the pressure tank. If not, well then hopefully we can get away with just replacing the tank.
We have put a major dent in our shopping now. We bought morgan a really nice pair of leather cowgirl boots online last night. All that's left are gift cards, Hubby's parents, and finish Alex. I do still have to get Morgans birthday presents too. Her bday is the day after Christmas.
Hubby left to go hunting this morning. He called me a couple of hours ago and was ecstatic. He shot what he's guessing to be a 250 lb pig! This should fill our freezer up good.

After working two hours of OT, I came home and went into the basement with a tire pressure gauge. Our pressure tank had no pressure. At all. Naturally, my small 1 gal air compressor died many moons ago, so I had to drag the massive 50 gallon compressor through the mud and slippery wet leaves and into the basement door. I charged the tank to the specified pressure, and........ It works. For now. I'll check the pressure again before bed, and again before I go to work tomorrow. But I was already able to tell a difference in the water pressure, so I'm crossing crossables!
Now, it's time for dinner. One whole smoothie. Mmmmboy
