mmmmmmm Half-a-salad mmmmmm
I never thought I would see the day when I would be full off of half of a salad. If I ate the whole thing, it would be over 500 Calories.

A normal day around here. Cleaned granny's house, came home and cleaned some of mine. Harped on Alex about who knows what. Picked up Morgan for an appointment and we just got home. I just fed the dogs and Ruger is always the first one done. He goes and stays under Shrek to catch whatever falls out of his jowls. He hit pay dirt with a whole chicken breast was dropped. I had to tear Ruger away from it and give it back to Shrek. I ended up putting him in his kennel so the other two could eat in peace. 
I have that problem with Xena. She inhales her scant 1/4 cup of dry food, then heads over to the cats' bowl and does her best to steal from them.A normal day around here. I have to keep an eye on her, and use the baby gate on the kitchen doorway to keep her out so the cats can finish in peace. Strangely enough, they just sit there and let her steal their dinner. 
I have that problem with Xena. She inhales her scant 1/4 cup of dry food, then heads over to the cats' bowl and does her best to steal from them.
Ruger is a very lovable dog but he gets serious about his food. He actually growled at Shrek when he tried to take the chicken breast away. And Shrek let him have it. He won't growl at me so I took it out of his mouth and threw it back in Shrek's bowl.

Just checking back in since I had to motor so quick after work.
Kat had a decent practice... They worked on pickles this evening... no, not the kind you eat. The kind where a runner is caught between bases and there are two defenders on either side trying to get her out. It's actually pretty cool when its done right by both the runner and defenders.
And now it's time for bed. We're still having bug issues, so the kids are still sleeping downstairs since their rooms are still unlivable. Which means, for them to go to bed, we need to go to bed.

Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!
Mrs E and I were thinking about going to the dirt track with the kids tonight. It's some kind of special event, but the ticket prices are about the same. And there will be fireworks afterwards. Just have to wait and see how tired we are by the end of the day. If we dont go, I think Im going to the gym for a little while. For my next goal, I still have 8 more pounds to lose and 6 weeks to do it. Unfortunately, i havent lost anything in weeks.
I also just booked our hotel for next weekend. Since Kat's tournament is two hours away, we figured it would be cheaper to get a room than it would be to drive the four hour round trip distance. Twice. I just hope it's a decent room.
Not to much else going on. Weather is actually pretty nice today. Warm, but still under 90. Humidity is down to a level that doesnt require you to drink the air.
Time to start processing returns. Lucky for me, it's a whole new process and that should make everything SOOO much easier! NOT.

Home from work early since I only had one dog to do. Tomorrow I'll have 3 dogs to do. It's been a week since I've been to work. Either we didn't have any dogs on the schedule or I was half out of my mind with that evil medication. Work will probably start slowing down this next month or so but will pick back up around Thanksgiving. After the bank I ran by the store for a few things and then to the bank to make a deposit and now home. Hubby and Alex finished dog food duty before I got home. I was very happy about that. We need a bigger deep freezer and have one just for the dogs food.
Tonight is taco salad night and Morgan will be cooking it. Hubby's on his six day break starting today. I'm always thankful for that. That's about all I've got for now. Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday!

Afternoon posse! Crazy day at the hut, looking forward to vacation. I'm trying to decide if I should leave checkout open, even though shipping wouldn't happen until we got back on the 1st.

I was so looking forward to my taco salad in the light crispy shell. I didn't even have to cook it. I waited a few minutes after them to go fix a plate and find that there is only one shell left, but it was burnt. There were the dredges of meat but mainly juice. Inconsiderate people live with me. Needless to say I didn't get a taco salad. Instead I'm enjoying a large strawberry weight loss shake.
