Good "morning" everyone!!!
*whew* what a day.... Im kinda paying for being a little lazy this week. BUT all of my receiving is caught up and I can get going on my returns first thing Monday morning.
My brother is coming by the house this evening to have dinner. Country style steak, homemade mashed taters and gravy, green beans, and corn muffins. His country style steak and gravy is better than mine. I still havent gotten the knack of gravy yet, darn it. But my taters and green beans are better.
Sunday, he'll be headed back to Afghanistan. I feel so bad for my niece. She has almost no clue what it feels like to have two parents at one time. But, they are doing what they need to do to make it work. I cant fault them for that.
Kat's tournament for tomorrow got cancelled. Its kind of a blessing in disguise. As much as she wanted to play, we wouldve had to cut the bro-visit short to get to the sports store an hour away to pick up some necessary necessities. At least now we can do it tomorrow at our leisure. I think I might leave Mrs E at home to give her a bit of a break from the kids. With all the school delays and cancellations, she needs the time off.
The weather is absolutely goregous today. Even the kids got on their bikes and rode around the neighborhood. Its almost 50 degrees right now! Its supposed to be nice all weekend too. Of course, its going to be nothing but rain all week next week... I really keep hoping for a 60+ day of sunshine so I can get my bike out of the shop. :sigh: I NEED to ride my bike.... Its almost painful seeing a beautiful day, other bikes all over the place... and Im stuck in a stinkin' minivan.
