Good morning all!

Now that I'm at work and we have internet access, I might actually be able to check in a little more often!

I'm hoping I can head out of here a little early today. I need to get some keys cut, but the real reason is to go pick up my new rifle. I did break down and tell Mrs E the price. She almost fell off the couch. Then I showed her the first ones I was looking at that were priced at over $1500, and she realized I actually made a good buy. Unfortunately, the thought of owning one sent her into a mild anxiety attack. She grew up in an anti-gun family. It took her a long time to get used to me having my .22 rifle in the house. Once she did, I bought my pistol. Once she got used to that idea, I got my CCP. Once she got used to THAT, I actually started carrying. When she brought all of this up, I explained to her that this was just the natural progression of it! Oddly enough, that seemed to work a little bit to calm her down. I have a feeling that she has no desire to actually pick this one up and shoot it. No matter how comfortable she is with it being in the house, this may well be my limit. That just means I'll have to do some serious customizing on this one. Oh darn. ;)

Well, I guess its time for me to sit back and take a quick nap before anyone gets here. I should be getting a shipment in today, so I'll be able to stay busy later. But for now, time to relax a bit. I hope everyone has a good day!!! AND TGIF!!!!

Sorry to hear that FV.

I've been doing PT type excersizes for my shoulders. My ortho doc thinks it should help with whatever I've got. Yeah, it hasnt helped a bit. All it does is reinforce why I went to the doctors about it in the first place. It does nothing but hurt.

Been kinda busy here today. Got a lot of vendors set up. Put together 3 of the 5 desks that have been delivered (we did the 8 chairs earlier in the week). My office has a desk and a chair now, so that means it actually looks like I have an office now. No more typing on the computer that's sitting on a box.

About 20 minutes ago, my stomach growled. Thats when I realized I had planned on going some place to eat today instead of bringing lunch to work like I normally do. Thats when I looked at the clock and realized that it was too late and I might as well just stay until it's time to go home. I guess I'll just be hungry for another two hours.

Good evening! I worked today and two of my three dogs showed up. While I was there the .... boyfriend of Jordan's that stays stuck up her .... 24 hours a day and won't even let her come to work alone was there. He's an azz. Since I now need to sit while I work I need one of the stools. The newer groomer needs a stool because the table she uses was sized for a toddler. Jordan uses a stool just because she wants to. Her boyfriend uses a stool because he's lazy and won't get a job and hangs out at the shop all day. Anyway, we're one stool short. We need four and have three. I grabbed a stool when I got there since I was first in. The newer groomer grabbed one when she got there. Jordan got the last one. When the newer groomer got up to go bathe a dog the .... boyfriend took her stool and didn't give it back. He did that to me last week. I didn't say anything but was pizzed because I really need to be sitting and he knew that to begin with. Anyhow, so the new groomer comes back to no stool and the owner gets an office chair out of the break room and takes it to butthead and asks him to switch with Valorie. The office chair can't really be used to groom in. Too awkward. He ignored her. She asked again and he actually said NO!!! She was soooo mad but didn't make him get up. She got her chair from the front desk and gave it to Valorie and then told her daughter Jordan that he needed to leave. They both left and then both came back and there he sat on that stool the rest of the day. Next time he takes it from me, and it will happen, I'll definitely be saying something to him and if he tells me no, I won't be so nice. Sorry, got side tracked. After work Valorie and I went to Starbucks to chat and ended up staying there for like three hours. It was nice to go out and just have some girl time. I'll get groceries tomorrow after Morgan's horse show.

FV, sorry the PT is hurting so bad. Maybe that means it's working. The vestibular therapy similar to PT doesn't make me hurt, just makes me look like a fool.

Glad you didn't get killed, James.

Punkin, I hope your day was better.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

James, I'll try to go in and get yours shipped before the PO closes tomorrow. I'm sorry that I bailed early, I was miserable.

Tiff, I can't believe the owner lets him tell her no. Seriously, throw the bum out of the shop! And buy your own stool and chain it to your table before you end up standing for a day. Not cool.

She was trying to get my neck to straighten out, it's a mess since the accident. But she hurt my right shoulder working on me today. Can't win over here. ugh.

Wine is in order!

Someone would've had a paid of scissors against his jugular.

I get to spend all day at the field tomorrow. I'm actually ok with it. My 13 year old will be playing for a 16u team playing against 18u teams this weekend. I'm kind of interested to see how she does against girls 5 years older than she is. But the fact that the weather is going to be in the low 80s and low humidity..... heavenly.

Don't worry about it! I will never ask you to go in on a weekend for me. It's not your fault I waited too long to order, and I refuse to ask you to go out of your way for my stupidity.

There's a dead possum in the middle of my yard. It is going to stay there until hubby gets home on Monday. I can't stand to look at the evil little eyes and nasty long tail. Gross!!
It's going to smell pretty bad if you leave it all weekend. blech.

It's far enough away from the house to where it shouldn't be a problem. I'll just walk the dogs on the opposite of the yard than I usually do. I seriously can not go dispose of it. I will either gag or vomit. Wonder if I can talk Alex in to it. I'll trade him folding towels for disposing of the dead rodent.

Well it turns out the possum is playing possum. I do think he's near his last breath though. Hubby told me we had to kill it and put it out of it's misery. I can't do it. It's slowly creeping but I swear it looked deader than a door nail. I tried talking Alex into it. Told him I'd do his last chore for him if he did it. Nope, no go. Morgan volunteered to do it so we stood in the garage with hubby on the phone contemplating weather to use the machete, axe or shovel and planning the murder of the poor possum.
