Good morning!

French Bulldog. They have one at the shop where Mr. V took the car in for an emergency A/C fix. I went and met it too, super cool little guy, though I'm really not sure I want to get a puppy. Housetraining, chewing.....

Agreeing with James on the leopard print. That's for leopards, not human legs.

OMG James, working for a paycheck? How ghastly.
I never did care for french bulldogs. Great temperament. But UGLY!

I KNOW, RIGHT?! I think I MAY have gotten used to getting paid without working. That, plus this is my first true management position. Its a lot to adjust to at the moment. :D

And I wont even mention that I now have a bruise on my .... cheek the exact size and shape of my wallet. We still dont have a pallet jack or dockplate, so you can imagine how much we had to go through to unload a long pallet that tipped the scales at 1200 pounds. Pallet jack on one side. I was on the hand truck on the other end. Then the hand truck caught on the diamond plate at the end of the trailer. Pallet kept being pulled up and out. Hand truck was suddenly without weight on in while I'm literally hanging off it trying to keep the end of the pallet up so it can move. I ended up on my backside right onto my wallet. I'm gonna go home and ask Mrs E to kiss it and make it all better. Hehe.

The pants are really cute. Also got a pair of plain blue capri length ones. Now looking on Amazon for long black and blue shirts. Found the perfect ones and they will be mine on the next payday.

Kiss your ...., James...... Sounds exactly like something hubby would say to me.

French bulldogs are so ugly they're cute. Sure you want a puppy! They're a blast. I can't wait for Apollo to get out of the toddler/young adolescent stage. He's funny as hill but boy does he have some energy. We take him out back every night and let him run some of it off.

Apollo drags out all 15 toys from his toy box every single morning and if I pick them up he will go right back and get it out. He loves to play with sticks and chase lightening bugs. He caught a few the other night and ate them. Ruger is obsessed with the tennis ball. He puts it in front of him and guards it. He doesn't play with it, just sits there and won't let Apollo have it. Apollo thinks when I mop I am playing so he chases and barks at the mop every time I do it. Goof ball dog.

Hubby went to work this morning and then came back home at 10. He said there was enough manning that he could take two days of leave. Then he's on kelly day and off for another six days after that. He'll be home for a little over a week. Now he can take me to my doctor appointment on Friday morning. Hopefully this will be the last appointment with this doctor for a good long while. :)

Every one here is napping. I think I'll go join them.

Happy Friday Eve!

We had to go to Ikea yesterday. That was the first time I had ever been in there. Holy monkey. I never want to go back there. Grocery shopping is bad enough, but that place was nuts! And the instructions that came with the office furniture was carp. Just pictures. I guess it's easier than putting everything in five different languages, but sheesh.

We'll be getting more people today. We should be getting about 7 or 8 more techs today. We're hoping to get tools issued and vehicles assigned.

The weather here is going to be gorgeous today. Well, it would be if my permanent residence was the surface of the sun. We'll be pushing 100 degrees today. With high humidity. Thankfully, Kat doesnt have practice again tonight and I'll be spending my evening locked indoors.

It looks like our HVAC vendor just showed up, so I better get to gettin'. I hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning. Haven't looked at the weather yet but it looks like it's going to be nice out today.

After I drop Alex off at class I have to take granny for some blood work. After that it will be time to pick Alex back up. I'm going to start something in the crock pot in a few minutes so I don't have to slave away in the kitchen tonight. Not that I usually do.

Morgan made muffins this morning. She dropped a cup of olive oil on the kitchen floor. We got it up the best we could for now but you could still go ice skating in there. I'm going to have to mop it a few times more. One more day until I can surprise hubby with the Go Pro I bought him for our anniversary. I'm excited. I can't wait to see the camera hooked up to the dog harness I got for Apollo.

Time to go get ready for the day. Hope everyone has a good one!

TGI2ndT. It is good to be alive no matter how much crap you have to put up with. The free loaders are going to continue to free load and the doers are going to continue to to do! It is almost Friday and the weather is kinda cooperating. Nothing terribly bad has happened this week so it is looking up for my eye doctor appointment on Monday. A comprehensive evaluation to tell me what I already know. I need cataract surgery! Crossing fingers that my past LASIK surgery won't mess up my results.

FV, How are you making out with your vision?

Hello! Sorry, stoopid appointments are getting in the way of my social life. Work, go to the Dr., work, sleep, repeat. This silliness needs to stop! Today we got a letter stating that we had a right to be at the drunks court appearance. It was yesterday.

Punkin, the secondary cataracts were removed and my left eye is great. I have 20/25 in that one. The right eye is not as great, I have a bit of blurring in bright lights, but it's still better than the cataract was. I need to go back and have the actual vision test done on it now that it's had a few weeks to settle down. All in all, I would still do it again, even though the right eye is not perfect. I can drive without glasses, I just need them to read and work on small stuff. No biggie. And complete agreement with your statements there!

I will not tell Mr. V about the ikea visit, I want to visit one. :D

A go pro on Apollo will be hilarious!

As goofy as Apollo is, I'm sure it will be quite entertaining.

I hate it when work interferes with my social life too.

Getting super anxious about my doctor appointment tomorrow morning. On the bright side, Morgan is going to stay with my parents tomorrow night and hubby and I are going out. Alone. With out kids.

Morgan's burn on foot from dropping a hot bowl of ramen noodles on it is now infected. I took her to the doctor last week about it because it was not looking so good so they did a culture. It came back positive for staph. Now she's on a dose of penicillin for the next week.

I caved and took a nap. For 4 hours!

And a HAPPY FRIDAY MORNING TO ALL!!!

We're having walls put in today which will create our conference room and break room. My boss threw me a paint chip book and said to pick a color for the accent wall. One, I dont see the point of accent walls. It's a wall. Walls are white. That was easy. He was less than amused at my enthusiasm. So I picked out the lightest gray color in the book. (it's actually white). Nope. So I picked out the lightest blue. (Yeah, it's white too) I dont do color coordination. I never have. I am seriously happy with white walls. But NoooOOOOooo. We need an accent wall. Ungh. :glare:

We also have our recycling bin delivering today. Electricians for the new rooms. Fence contractor for the warehouse cage. And I get to start prepping the new vans with all the stuff the techs are going to need. Road cones, power inverters, etc. I have crossables crossed that I'll be able to leave at a decent time this afternoon. Kat has a two and a half hour practice scheduled for this evening. Then she has an all day tournament tomorrow. Sunday will be a whole day of absolutely NOTHING. AT. ALL.

Weather is still scorching hot. Gonna be another near 100 degree day. But there are supposed to be storms moving in right after lunch time to help cool everything off and really ruin the drive home.

Ok, gotta work. Y'all have a great day!!!!!!!

The modern court system and mail system at it's finest.

Just another reason for you to come down this way!!! Honestly though, I dont see what the big deal is. Yes, there is a lot of a lot of a LOT of stuff. Yes, the prices are reasonable. But they arent crazy cheap. And you can hit your daily step count goal in one trip. The place really is MASSIVE. I might feel differently if I was there with someone else's money while shopping for myself.

I'd be happy to see a GoPro on Victor, too!

Congrats on the night out without kids!

Um. No.

Actually, boss man walked in a little while ago and told me that HIS boss told him what color to go with, and even included the color ratios to get the right shade of dark blue.

TGIF. I'm hungry. That's all I got....

*Punkin on the run*
I was too... Until bossman ordered pizza for everyone. I'm glad I skipped breakfast, because I just ate WAY too much
