That's the kind of fireworks we'll be watching this year. They had them in town last night, we passed on the craziness.

We don't bother with fire works. Dealing with all the crazys and then traffic. No way.
When the boys were young, I would take them over to see the firework show at the high school. It was pretty good, and was mostly parents with small kids watching.
Happy 4th to everyone! Please drink responsibly. I will have/ need one or two today after we get back from the Grrrr store. 
Arrived home safely from the Grrrr store. Already had a Scotch and I'm relaxing getting ready to cook up some dogs with all the fixins. Since we are not going anywhere else today I might just have me another. Make that a double please! 
Normally I wouldn't like the umbrella part but we sure need some rain. I know what tea is but what is sparkling ice? 
Just got back from a cookout at DIL's grandparent's house. Found out the high school still does the fireworks, but postponed until next weekend because of impending rain tonight.
I had a little "chat" with Ian, he texted me an hour before the cookout to invite me.
Apparently he knew since at least yesterday, when I was over his house for dinner and didn't say anything. I told him if I had known earlier, I could have made stuff to bring with me - like maybe lumpia, which is one of his favorites. I think he will remember to tell me earlier next time.

I had to look it up. They are like egg rolls, and look yummy.

I have a Tapatalk question. If I post using my home computer I can read/see my own postings using Tapatalk on my cell phone. If I post using my cell phone I can read/see them just fine on my home computer but on my cell phone they look empty. I hope that makes sense. Is there a setting I have set wrong that hides the contents of my own postings?
