Hi, Stretchy!

This seems to be taking the path of most government regulation: impose a lot of "jumping through hoops" requirements while accomplishing little or nothing to satisfy a poorly-defined end goal. Our tax dollars at work....
Can't like it, but I 100% agree.

This government regulating everything under the sun sucks. You can't even discipline your own children without them having a say in it. Grrrr.

Nothing exciting here. No work today. It's slow right now because school has started back and I guess everyone is spending their money on school supplies and clothes. (I'm not, I spent all mine on Amazon last night.) It should pick back up in a couple of weeks. Maybe. We'll have a good month of busyness and then the weather starts getting cooler and people don't get their dogs groomed as much, then the holidays hit and we pick up because people want their dogs clean and groomed for company coming over, then it will be slow again until the spring.

The kids and I hit the ground running this morning cleaning house. I made a list room by room of what needed done and told them when it was all finished and done well they could have the rest of the day to themselves. They weren't terribly happy about my mega list but I told them either they could help clean the house and continue to eat and sleep here or they could go get a job and support themselves and live in a pig sty in their own place. They didn't think I was serious. I locked the snacks up in the closet in the hall, took all the sodas away, only left out fruit and veggies in the fridge and told them to cook their own meals but not to use the food in the pantry since they didn't want to help out around here they didn't get to use the stuff that their dad and I buy. Did I sound too mean??? Needless to say, the house got cleaned.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I may go to my moms later today or maybe wait til tomorrow when hubby is home and I can go off by myself without having to take Morgan.

I'm liking getting done work at 11:30 :) Not so much the Monday thing of going in at 5:30, but I kinda goofed on that one. :(

I forgot to mark posts. Anyway, Xena never used to "talk" to me. I've had a couple other dogs that have, so was trying to encourage her, no luck. Until Raggy came into the picture, go figure! Now she talks to me a few times a day, love it! :) And the female cat will talk to me, sometimes, when SHE feels like it. It's a cat thing I guess. :)

Have fun!

Everything here is quiet. Kids are asleep. Two little dogs sleeping. Apollo is laying on the couch intently watching the tv screen. That's because I took the dang squeaky toy pig away for the rest of the night. Now it's time to go fill up my cart at Avon.
