Not at home, but we had SS in the cafeteria. Very easy to clean and durable.

I have a marble slab I use for rolling pie crust that sat on the counter when we lived in VA. You have to be careful what you set on it. It could stain easily, and I was afraid to get my cast iron anywhere near it. I'm sure granite is much more durable though. And pretty! :)

Oh, I've also had a tile counter top in one apartment. I was still worried about sitting the cast iron down too hard, but it was really easy to clean.
I'm really leaning towards Stainless. I like the look of it. People are not happy with their granite. They say it's hard to see the crumbs and spills and you do have to be careful with hot stuff..Now the finding out where I can order them is the next part.

Ask at your local Home Depot, they will know of someone local.

Good afternoon! Still raining here, yuck. It was supposed to be sunny today, but no. I have Strawberry in a limitless on an istick, and think I need to go to Stretchy's house for dinner. We have leftover scalloped potatoes and ham on the menu. And squash again because the farmer's market guy gave me a great deal on squash.
