Its been a LAZY day. And I love it!

I think Im going to have to forgo the bike ride. Maybe. The promise of rain is in the air.

My mail stalking has been an aggravation. Two orders. Two boxes. One box contains something from both orders. The other box contains just one order. One of them delivered. But that means that Im still missing one order, and part of the second. Both were marked "out for delivery" at the same time..... I dont get it.

Chiropractor wont release Kat to play. She's still having issues with some of her stretches that worry the doc. Rightfully so. But that does mean that Kat wont be able to play this weekend. We're still going to go watch them play though.

Well, Mrs E just got home for work. Maybe I can convince her to come outside to help me put the grillzebo up.

Then, we have to get Melanie to practice. I know I know. I really know how to live it up.

Good afternoon. I just got home from cleaning granny's house. She cooked a beef roast and potatoes for me to bring home for dinner tonight. Before I left this morning I started the dishwasher and apparently it leaked all over the place. Alex put a towel down underneath it and it was dripping wet when I picked it up a few minutes ago. GREAT! I hope it is inexpensively fixable. Hubby just replaced a gadget in there a couple of weeks ago. I really don't want to have to buy a new dishwasher right now. And the bonus of the day is that Alex got a virus on the computer he uses. It's in the office but he's the only one that uses it. This has happened before and it's always on Alex's computer. I don't want to know where the virus came from because I have a feeling I wouldn't like it. He's in a ripe mood because he's been trying to fix it all day. He said that he needs to reinstall windows but the cd drive won't open so he can do that which is just lovely. I need to run and help Morgan study for two tests tomorrow. Be back later hopefully in a better mood.

May. Right now it's just teasing us with a few nice days. We're all running around outside enjoying the heat wave. It's almost 60!

Snow next week?? When does spring hit there?

Here's the project. It still needs stain, wiring for heat lamps, and the inside ready for baby chicks. I wanted to put a sign on the front that says "Peep Show" but a few neighbors objected. Cry babies. Instead I bought a spiffy "Chick Days!" sign. boo hiss.

Alex got the disk drive open and just finished wiping the hard drive. He is now installing all the stuff that needs installing.

I still can't out why the dishwasher is leaking. I see where it's leaking from and after contorting myself into odd shapes to see the inside underside of the door I can't tell if it's a seal or what. I gave up. Hubby said he'll look at it tomorrow when he gets home. In the meantime I told the kids that if they use a dish they wash it and put it away.

Now I'm going to take a deep breath and not get into a frenzy over small stuff. It's just one of those days I guess.

Today is looking better than yesterday.

Hubby found the problem with the dishwasher and it seems to be fixed. Alex fixed his computer so he'll stop his moaning and grumbling now. Hubby is going to get new tires and an oil change for my car tomorrow probably. I count that as a good thing because it means it's one less thing we have to worry about saving for. Next will be brakes for hubby's truck, money for band camp for Morgan, and if we have enough time to save it we're going to actually leave town and not take the kids for our 20th anniversary in June. I have no idea where or what we'll do but it won't be here.

I did a dog today that was very, very old. The owner said he got it as a puppy and it is now 21 years old. The poor thing could not stand without his legs going in opposite directions and one of his eyes was so crusted over that the eye was literally glued shut. I was too scared to try to get it off with the clippers so I let it soak a bit and worked on it in the tub. Finally got it unstuck and was able to see the eyeball. Monday I am doing a cocker spaniel that has one eye and it's blind in that one eye. Seems that I am getting most of the difficult dogs lately.

I got Alex signed up for the SAT in May. Then one more class and he'll be done with high school!! What comes next is anyone's guess but it's one milestone at a time with him.

Hope everyone is having a good Friday.

Does it never end?? Vapemail today I got a couple of 5ml Atlantis tank upgrades... and find out in my email that there are now 7ml upgrades available.

Also they are coming out with a rebuildable coil for the Atlantis! The replaceable ones are a bit pricey, although you don't have to change them too often, so this is great news!
