This is to be expected. More and more people are buying online. I personally haven't Christmas shopped in store for well over 10 years.
It's not just the po ups is behind also. I ordered the last of my presents today. So they should be on time. If not no worries just for hubby anyway.

Baking hubby a birthday pie. He's not a cake person. Now all I have to do is thing of something quick for supper.
My only shopping will be done online. Just little gifts for people in the nursing home that don't get anything. Sonny and the wife get $$, which is what they need the most. Mr. V and I don't exchange anymore because if one of us needs something we just buy it.

I ordered something from Amazon yesterday and they gave me free one day shipping since I have Prime. It showed up today by UPS.

Next time we travel that far north I will grab a bag of curds for you punkin.
Traveling to the far North where you live should probably be left to Santa Claus.
My MotoX is an unlocked GSM technology phone. You should be able to pull out your old SIM card from your existing phone and just plug it into my phone and it should just work. You will have to take off the Otter case to put the SIM card in and you will be surprised what color the back of the phone is.

punkin! It's about 2 hours north, I'll just come up with a reason to head up that way. Or I could just promise Mr. V that we'll go to Golden Corral on the way home. That should work. And thank you, now I can stop fretting about him killing off the one phone that we have. He's horrid with phones.
Gloomy and wet here today, but it's not snowing so all is well.
