No dipped chicken legs, we didn't stop there because we had to get to work. We thought Mr. V would probably be called in today, so we worked last night.

33 here too, and the PO didn't call, so he gets to finish the outside stuff that he put off while it was nicer out.

I agree Punkin! I was tickled this morning when I saw it was 34F outside! For me, that translates to "No snow or ice to scrape off the car windows!"

I HATE CHRISTMAS MUSIC RADIO STATIONS!!! <end rant>

Apparently downtown (HQ or whatever you'd like to call it) has decided we WILL BE taking appointments for passports. They allot 15 minutes for each, although we normally move more quickly than that. As long as we leave at least one clerk available for mailing customers, we could (theoretically) have 3 clerks doing them at one time.

The problems start when customers don't come in with photos already in hand. Then they must wait for the one clerk to do them. Of course people without photos get prickly when they haven't made an appointment, and find they get bumped back for those who have.

Fortunately, the past couple of days, we have only had a couple of customers for passports. Most lately are mailing holiday parcels.

Darn cold doing driving tests this morning. Left early for my cortisone shot in my knee, Of course they wanted x rays too. Cant wait for that bill. Fun filled day. Yep highlight of my week.

Sorry Drott, I've always hated cortisone shots! They seem to hurt like Hades!
