Drott, I usually get my stuff at around 2 weeks. Right now I'm waiting on an order from the Netherlands. They said 10-25 days. ugh.

On the other end of the chicken spectrum, I'm adding 3 roos to the freezer today.

The yard is a bit quieter. The newest roo has no clue what to do with his girls. He's just standing around flapping. They are in a circle around him, just staring.
Alls tucked back in the coop safe and sound. I should have just took them and put them in the brooder with the others. But she was so frantic when their out of sight. I just couldnt.
Thought I was done hatching for the year just the goose eggs yet. But when I got home from the rat race Wednesday there was a box of eggs waiting. Aparently the guy I got the Barr bantams from sent replacements. It's been 2 months I thought he wasn't sending them and had forgotten all about them.Grrrr

Chicken see chicken do. I have another one that today decided to go broody. Maybe I'll give her some of the barr eggs.
I'm busy convincing myself that I don't need any of the chicks that will be at the shop on the 1st. Welsummers, darn. I'd really like to keep a few.
Got the old stove drug out. Tomorrow I get to scrub the wall and floor. Found 4 tennis balls 4 other type balls a stuffed animal bone and a half chewed pig ear. I think it was only cleaned back there 1x in 20 + years.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, y'all. It was a fairly uneventful day. Just our standard Sunday. Sunday school, Walmart, church, lunch, then an hour drive for Kat's team. There was too much rain over the week for practice, but we had our parent's meeting, finally. We're starting a new fundraiser. And it. Is. AWESOME. They are raffling off the standard gift cards, car washes, spa days and a 55" tv. But what makes it amazing, is that they are also raffling off a Diamondback DB15 .223 rifle, a Mossberg 500 Flex 12ga shotgun, a Taurus PT111 9mm, a Glock 19 9mm, a Ruger SR22, and a Barrett Recruit crossbow. And um.... They will send to a local FFL. Just sayin'. And you don't need to even need to be local. Just sayin'. $5 per ticket, or $20 for 5 tickets. Just sayin'.
Well, my first emergency for the day just started. Access cards arent opening doors.

Thanks Drott. I'm glad this wasnt an emergency order. Then again, if it were a true emergency, I wouldve just gone to a local B&M shop.

Already got 65 raffle tickets pledged for! 10 more and Kat gets $100 off of her Fall season dues!!!

Here too. We really dont need this weather anymore. We had a record breaking 2.5 inches yesterday. Severe storm warning right now with a high chance of more storms later in the day. I havent been able to mow my lawn in two weeks.
