My guess is she's just fine. Waterproof feathers, fine down underwear, and 32 degree snow is a whole lot better than what it has been lately, minus 3! But I bet she is hungry because I know I am....

I didn't think of it llike that, Punkin. I know it's about 45 here and I'm freezing. I have on three layers. I would not do well in the northern weather.
I'm a bit hungry too but I just ate two caramel rice cakes so those should hit me soon. Just popped open a light beer too. Is it too early you think??

Oh what I wouldn't give for a big slice of pizza. Instead I'm having a big salad for dinner. And an orange for snack later.

The rice cakes are only 2 points and quite tasty with the caramel flavor. The 24 oz beer is 8 points.

You can buy them as singles. I didn't want a whole case. Just wanted one beer. I think it was like $1.79 or something.

I just got home about 15 minutes ago, left at 3pm.
Apparently people somehow think they can drive in the snow, then find out they can't. I was doing pretty well until I hit the long slow hills near the mall, it took me an hour to go about a mile. Mostly because the people coming off the freeway weren't stopping when the light turned red, and everyone ended up sitting in the intersections. WTH goes to the mall during a snowstorm anyway??
BUT - I found out I truly truly LOVE my Jeep! This is the first real time I've driven it in any amount of snow, and the first time I had it in 4WD. OMG it's so awesome!!! Almost like having a 5 speed again. 
Pop it in 1st to start out and get up to about 20mph, then pop it in 2nd, downshift again to slow to a stop - WOOHOO!!!!

Took me less than a 1/2 hour to get home 20 miles. no one was on the roads. Snow covered but not bad. Imo. But then us that drove for a living don't know. So far only around 4".

I think the last time I got a 24 oz was on a road trip with my BFF Barb from a truck stop. Zonked right to sleep after that!

I remember that road trip and laugh. It was raining so hard before we pulled off that evening, I was having trouble keeping Barb's taillight in sight. We got to the hotel, locked up the bikes, and walked over to the truck stop and grabbed some sandwiches and tall beers. Back at the room, we draped everything that was wet over the heater, and each took a nice hot shower.
At the time, I had a sheepskin seat cover on my bike, and it was soaked. I decided to try drying it out with the hair dryer that was in the room. It worked great! But it did give the room a sort of "wet sheep/wet dog" kind of aroma. Adding that to the warm leather aroma that was coming from the jackets, chaps and boots draped on the heater, we were sure whoever cleaned the room the next day would be quite puzzled.
We left a very nice tip.

Good morning. Alex decided to wake me up making cookies at 2 am. He needed powdered sugar and we didnt have any. He used the blender to make his own. Sugar every where.
