Mornin' all!

I didnt think it was tomorrow yet. Today cant be tomorrow because tomorrow hasnt happened yet!

Well, Kat went to the school nurse yesterday after lunch complaining about her back. Since nurses cant hand out meds of any kind, all she could do was send her back to class. When they called Mrs E to let us know Kat went to the nurse, Mrs scheduled a chiropractor appointment. It turns out that she has indeed strained her back muscles which led to a minor sprain in the ligaments that connect her back to her pelvis. The fun part: It wasnt initially caused by any specific injury. But mostly due to poor posture. When she sits down, her spine looks like a question mark. With the back problems I have, naturally, I fuss at her all the time about sitting up straight, standing straight... But I'm Dad. Dad doesnt know anything. The doc said that it usually takes about 4 weeks before it will stop hurting, assuming she takes proper care of it. With the last two weeks of us not letting her play, we're hoping she get the "all clear" from the doc in about two more weeks. She's got to go back to the office twice a week for realignment and some kind of "clicky thinggy" (my wife and daughter couldnt tell me anything about it, other than "clicky thingy"). Now, Kat has listened to a competent Coach tell her that her Dad knew what he was doing when he was coaching, AND she's had a doctor that has pretty much repeated everything Dad ever said about her back. Including the injury diagnosis and treatment. Its just a shame it was Dad that's been telling her all of it. Stoopid kids.

On a positive note, I can finally pick up my bike from the shop today! As soon as I get home, I'll have to change clothes and have Mrs E run me up there, then ride back home to drop off the bike and change clothes, then load up Melanie to get her to the field for her first game while Mrs E take CJ to the school for the annual 1st Grade Art Exhibition, then Mrs E will join us at the field to catch the last half of the game. And all of that has to happen between 4:00 (when I leave work) and 8:30 (when Melanie's game ends). I dont know what we're going to do about feeding the kids tonight. Maybe just throw a muffin at them or something.

I better get going. I still have two pallets to wrap up, a truck to clean out, an inventory check to run, some new system training to go through, and then somehow manage to find time to train a back up for me for when I go on vacation. Ungh

Y'all have a great day!

I'm thrilled. I'm sure he is too. He'll tell me I need tests A-Z, I will tell him I need none of them. He'll try to convince me, I'll stand firm on my refusal. Then I get my stoopid physical and can leave. I'm having a cataract removed, not being put under, the entire idea of a physical is stoopid. Look out Dr. Bruette, don't test my patience today. :glare:

Howdy all.

Mrs E is on the way with my riding gear to pick me up so we can go get my bike and leave my company vehicle because I have to turn it in earlier than I was originally told. I just spent the last two hours cleaning out my company truck and the big cargo van that everyone uses. Im sure there was stuff that was useful, but I said "screw it" and threw EVERYthing away.

Today was busy. I even broke a sweat. TWICE.

Time to kick back and relax for another 20-30 minutes until the missus gets here. Then its off to the bike shop, to the house, to the ballfield. Ungh.
