Tiff, bottom right block has a screwed up seam allowance. Fix that, block the thing and it will be fine. They always look wonky until they have been pressed. Once your seams match, you're good to go.

Thanks FV. I'll get it back out when I don't think I will throw it across the room. The pattern of the blocks seems off to me. Shouldn't they all be going in the same direction to make diagonal lines?

The pattern is off. Take the four block sections apart and turn them around until they look right to you. Quilting is one of those don't sew a stitch until you have looked at it from all angles things. I lay blocks out on the dining table, then take two blocks, marking what seam I need to sew, double check, sew it, then put it back on the table and stare at it before I do any more. It will get easier with practice.

I'll rip it apart tomorrow and see what I can do. I thought I had everything lined up and the pattern good but nope, I did not.

And I just spent an hour and a half researching a walking foot. Snagged one with good reviews on Amazon for $25.

Mornin' everyone!

Melanie had a great game last night. Her team beat the powerhouse team from last year 12-2. Mel had two really good hits. They had her behind the plate in catcher's gear twice, but at this age, all the catcher really does is kneel behind the plate. Most of the time, they dont/cant catch the ball.

Did I mention I got to ride my bike yesterday? I'm glad I did, because its going to be the last time until no earlier than late next week. The weather is going to get chilly and rainy. I have enough issues driving around id10ts in the rain, I dont need to make it worse by putting myself on two wheels in it.

Well, I guess I better get motoring. I'm going to finish up some paperwork real quick, then I have to start taking my truck and the warehouse van to the city corporate office. :( No more free gas to get to work

As far as the quilting and sewing talk goes... All I can say is:
