Yeah, this was bad... Bugs dont bother me. As long as theyre outside. They live outside. I live inside. If it stays like that, I'm cool. Bugs inside...no. Ever. It really was nightmarish. After we treated everything ourselves and let the kids sleep in their beds again, I went to check on them... Melanie had dozens of them all over her. Mrs E was in tears because of it. And to top it off, we think Mrs E is allergic to bedbug bites. She had to go to the doc for a steroid shot and some super antihistamine pills to halt the allergic reaction. If it got much worse, it wouldve put her into anaphylactic shock. Night. Mare. All of it.

My dad had bats in his attic. Thankfully, I only have birds. :glare:

I hope this does the trick and get rid of all this mess. Poor Mrs. E!

Work was easy today. One of my favorite dogs and their owner came in. She almost didn't recognize me, She said "Tiffany????" Yep it's me. It's a wonder what 77 pounds will do. Anyway, I got the dog finished and helped with a couple of Chihuahua nail clip and then home to Alex grumbling. I told him if he didn't stop it I'm leaving the house again like I did this morning. I actually went into work 45 minutes early to get away from it. Hubby and I are having another serious talk with him this weekend. He's not going to like what we have to say but that's too bad. I'm feeling exceptionally disappointed and terrified at the same time. I can't envision the rest of my life like it is now and it will be that way if we don't do something. Don't know if it will work but if not then we'll try something else. On a happy note, I got almost half of my closet cleaned out between last night and this morning before I left for work. I found things in there that I'd forgotten I had.

Me too... Even though my house still smells like chemicals right now. Blech. All the more reason to go to the gym... Then I get to put mattress encasements on three mattress and one set of box springs. I'm debating if I want to put the wall plates back over outlets and switches since they're going to come back out in ten days... Meh... Prolly not.

That makes me want to live in a bubble. I freak if I see an ant in the house.

Though we did just have a bat in the dining room. We waited for it to hang and go to sleep on the crown molding, then Mr. V gently caught it in a kitchen towel and took it outside. I like bats. Bugs, not so much.
I almost had a bat in the house once. It was in our summer place in MD, the fan in the kitchen didn't have a screen on the window. When I got up one morning, I saw a bat plastered to the inside of the fan grill. Thinking it was dead, I turned the fan off and was ready to go outside and remove it with the BBQ tongs. BUT... as soon as the fan blade stopped, the bat started moving! It somehow, was totally unhurt!! I just let it get out on its own, poor little thing. :(

Dont worry. I wouldnt envy me either!

And it's time to say adios mi amigas. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Time to get in a hot car with no a/c but with the best exhaust note of any car I've ever owned which negates the need and desire to turn on the radio. :)
So true! I have helmet speakers so I can listen to tunes on my bike, but 9 times out of ten I never turn them on! :p

Today I talked him not too long ago today He still said they are definitely side effeccts. s. He asked me to please be patient and it will ogaway once my body is used to it. He said to try to manage it for another week and if it still having problems then we'll look for another option. The problem I'm on iit for seems a tiny bit better I've been told by most of my doctors that I'm a tough case tto treat. I've been on so many different meds and some of them work but eventually my body gets immune and stops working. I'm so frustrated with playing ring around the medicine. I'll give the doc one more week and then insist on coming off of it. It's expensive too! $425 a month and thats our pay after the indurance pays their part. The doc said not to worry about the cost and he will supply me with samples every month. I'm feeling much better now. It comes and goes without much warning.

I'm ordering my new glasses Friday. Hope they arrive quickly so I could stop asking everyone in the house what something says.

As far as my stupidity goes I lose my words in the middle of a sentence. Last week hubby and I were doing dog food prep. We have to measure how much they get by ounces and pounds so I was using my mail scale. I had the hardest time figuring out the decimals and what what equaled. Hubby finally had to just do it himself. The topper was at work one day I was plugging in a cage dryer and knew I had to use an extension cord. I had both ends in my hand and for the life of me did not know what to do with them. I'll just try to not have any in long conversations withany one so it doesn't show as much. Mainly it's that I say a word and dit doesn't make any sense. I have to say it several times in my head to remember if what I am saying is really a word or try to figure out what the word is.

Thats a lottttttt of teens to test. Looking at numbers like that, I think we can all agree that its a good thing your putting in for your retirement.

Is that 9 for 9 pass, or 9 for 9 fail?
That was 9f 9p. But I ended with 17p and 14f. 4 no-shows. Don't know what the other guy had.

How many days until retirement? :D

Tiff, I'd be terrified. You don't know what damage this is doing long term. I wouldn't risk it. :2c:

I pulled a Bamrz and fell asleep in my char after work.

Good morning everyone.

Yet another near sleepless night. Naturally, the kids were afflicted with a serious case of the dumba$$ yesterday. All three of them. After one day at grandma's, CJ forgot how to show respect and use manners. I dont know what the girls' problem was, but it was just as bad. I asked Mrs E to bring home some adult beverages. I never drink during the week. And I very rarely drink at all because of my diet. It was that bad. Anywho... House was sprayed. All clothes and sheets and blankets have been washed. Stack of mattress covers were left downstairs. After dinner, I start getting the house put back to "normal". After covering Melanie and CJ's bed, I realized that we had four queen box spring covers, two queen mattress covers, and two twin mattress covers... Yeah... We have three twin mattresses and one queen set... Mrs E will be calling the exterminators back in about an hour to have them bring out the correct covers. Because of all that, Kat couldnt sleep in her bed. All of the mattresses had been sprayed. So I went ahead and got Melanie and CJ in bed, then started working on putting my room back together. Mrs E got home after about an hour, and we walked into Melanie and CJ's room to make sure they were bug-free. Nope. A half dozen bugs between the two beds. We knew that the spray used doesnt kill them immediately, but we expected it to be at least same day. It wasnt. Mrs E will also be asking about that when she calls about the mattress covers.

So, I have now had four hours of sleep per night for the last three or four nights. I'm exhausted. And it's no where near done yet. The good news, is that Mrs E has the next four days off, so at least I wont have to do it alone.

I did get to ride the bike this morning! Right now the temps are around 70, and arent supposed to get over 90 today. And it's supposed to be like that all weekend, so the weather should be nice for Kat's tournament Saturday.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! I also hope you guys can be around a bit more. I might need someone to talk to to keep me awake. :D

The Camaro has a Bose sound system. It really sounds wonderful. But I never turn it on. That four inch exhaust is the best soundtrack you can have when youre driving that car! :)

I've got a bluetooth helmet with the speakers in it too. I almost always at least connect it to the phone, and I usually play iHeartRadio or something. I love listening to music while cruisin' down the road.

And what in the H-E-double hockey sticks are you supposed to do if it "comes and goes" while youre driving?!

What she said- Drott, we know youre counting days! How many left?!

At least you didn't pull a James and fall asleep in your chair DURING work.

Up until this morning it hasn't happened again. Got up feeling fine but within 30 minutes the double vision started and the sspinning and loss of coordination started. I don't drive if it hits like both times. Supposed to take Granny to do some odd and end things but called her and told her I was scared to even attempt driving. If it started while I was driving I would immediately pull over. Found all of my symptoms on drugs.com under the med info. Wish hubby would hurry up and get home. He stopped by BJ''s to pick up some flooring for the office. I've already put in a call to the doctor now just waiting for him to call me back. I know it has to6be this medicine because every single symptom is in the info I've found on line. Dizziness, painful and dare urination, loss of balance control, slurred speach, shakiness, confusion, and sensation of spinning. I'm planted on the cuch until this passes. Ugh.
