Why is every hairstyle that I find that I like and think my hair would do are always for women over 60? I look on pinterest and find a wow style that I like and then click link and in bold at the top of the websites is hairstyles for older women 50-70. Makes me wonder if my hair now falls in that catergory.

I think I'm done with my funky hair color phase. That red a couple of years ago looked more orange the longer it was there. I'm all natural right now for the first time in years. In that time period I have gone quite gray especially on the sides of my head. I'm torn over whether I should get highlights and lowlights done or just leave it alone.

I would like to have my nose pierced but that will never, never, ever do it. Hubby would be verrrrry upset and he's quite a calm laid back guy. My mom told me the other day that she wants one. I don't think it's such a good idea. She's 60 and I don't think people that age go get their nose pierced. I'm sure there have been people her age that laready had one but never heard of getting one for the first time. And of course Morgan asked for one too. That was a big fat no from hubby.
Tiff, if your mom wants to get her nose pierced, I think she should go for it! :) I still want more ink, granted I already have some, but I'm getting too damned close to 60.

Personally, I wouldn't get my nose pierced because it seems like it would be horrid when you get a cold! :p

I in no way meant that older women have ugly hair. It's just that I'm only 41.
Maybe it's just because you are looking at shorter styles?? Other than that, I have no clue.

Wow, today was absolutely horrendous! Thursday is the drop day (regular day off) for 2 of the window clerks, and 2 more both called out "sick". That left me and one other guy (who usually avoids working the window as much as possible) for the window, passports, dispatch, lunch breaks..... I put the "" around sick, because today was a tax deadline day. :glare: Your guess is as good as mine if they were actually sick or not. Now I need to come up with an awesome payback. :)

Bamrz, what's the worst day possible for you to get "sick"? April 15th maybe?

I was thinking of getting bangs cut. That's as far as I think I maybe could go for a haircut. But the thought of lopping it off then hating it stops me. I won't get anything pierced, I'll stick with my pierced ears. But I have no problems getting more ink.

Good morning! Up and at 'em. It's Friday! I'm off of work today but will definitely have to go in tomorrow. This new groomer is biting into my work schedule. I sort of don't mind because I enjoy the extra time but then do mind once my paycheck comes around. It's not her fault. She's a sweet lady and I do like her. The owners daughter, which was our other groom that I trained, hasn't come in for about 2 weeks now. Her mom thinks she's on drugs of some sort. Her mom is the one taking care of this kids son. When I went to work on Wednesday the owner told me that Jordan (her daughter) came into the shop the night before using her key around midnight sometime. She opened the back door but left it unlocked. She went through the cash box but her mom had taken it all home with her. She went through my drawers and took a $10 tip I had gotten from the other day. Her mom repllaced it. While they were there she for some reason used up almost a whole box of dog treats. When they left they didn't lock the front door. She went thought her parents stuff and stole money from both of them. Her mom is in the process of trying to get the key from her or change the locks. I really feel sorry for her to some extent. She's a very pretty girl with lots of potential but wasting it all.

I am in desperate need of a hair cut and nails done. I'd like to do it today but will wait til next week.

Hope everyone's day is great!!

It's really quiet lately. We need to have a party. :toast:

I once again finished all of my to do list today. I just got home from picking up my check, bank and what was supposed to be a cheap and quick trip to Target. All I needed was white out and toothpaste. $50 later....Got some cute shoes on clearance though.

Hubby made the reservation for the hotel in downtown Atlanta that we will be staying at. We're going in about a month. 28 days to be exact. Morgan will stay with either my mom or my sister for the weekend and Alex will stay here with the dogs. My parents are only about 20 minutes away and he did very well when he stayed by himself when hubby and I took our anniversary trip.

You know, I should really start my Christmas shopping soon. It'll be here before we know it.

I pretty much stick to the two flavors, truly and honeysuckle, and some 3 year old House or some of the other CC flavors. I've run out a couple of times and had to resort to spare juice. That's actually happened 2 times I think. Those darn bills just ruin all the fun.
