Good news is, I got a text a few minutes ago that said DHL tried to deliver it today but no one was home. I just need to leave a note and they can leave it. :)

Is he single??
Sadly, no. How his wife stays thin is a mystery.

I have been all over creation today and with a massive stomach ache to boot. Started with going by the bank and a hair appointment this morning. Not too terribly sure how I like the hair but it's better than it was before. I liked the last style but it was ridiculous to do. Took for freakin' ever. And I'm picky so I had to make sure every hair was in the right place. Then to another appointment and when that was over I had to go pick up Morgan to go take her to her appointment. From there to the nail salon and then to the grocery store. I'm finally home and worn out. Hubby is going to kill me when he sees what I spent on myself the past two days. $75 on just me.

Guess I'll turn on the tv and watch some Grey's Anatomy.

Sounds like loads of fun, FV. I'm going to go put on the tv show finally. Once I turned the tv on earlier my sister called. Talked to her for a few minutes and then my mom called. Talked to her for a few minutes. Then I almost forgot that I was supposed to call granny. It went ahead and did it then or I would have forgotten. No word from hubby except one text earlier today. He doesn't get good reception where he is. He'll be home tomorrow. Then back to work Thursday and Friday. Ugh.

Alex called me six times while I was gone today. He gets lonely when no one is here but when we are here he doesn't want to spend any time with me. He just wants to know I'm in the house. On one phone call he said that "he couldn't control himself" and he drank a cup of Morgan's orange drink. Then later when I talked to him he told me that he ended up drinking so much of it that he filled it back up with water. He said it tasted awful and didn't know what to do. Soooo, I had to buy Morgan another drink since he drank hers. It does no good to tell himm to leave other people's stuff alone. He does it anyway and then tells on himself.

Morgan has a "boyfriend" at school now. He's supposedly her age and in the same grade and she met him through a mutual friend. His name is Neo.

Work wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be. I got my days confused and thought today was the day for the two labs but actually it is Monday. Not I have a few more days to psych myself up for it.

Alex was trying to bathe Ruger on his own and he didn't shut the bathroom door. Ruger bolted out of the tub, soaking wet, jumped up on the couch and pee'd on my pillow. Guess that one's going in the trash. He must have been upset about the bath is what I was thinking. He made a mess of my floors but I just finished sweeping and have handed the mopping off to one of the kids.

I've got some bbq ribs in the oven slowly cooking for them tonight. It smell really good.

I just got off the phone with someone from the state vocational rehab program about Alex. They want him attend an 8 day work assessment in November. This is to determine what job would suit his needs best and if schooling is something he needs to do and possible money to help pay for that. It shouldn't affect his SSI with a small part time job or whatever it is we decide or is referred to us to help him more. He's going to have a big fat meltdown FIT about going but I think it's important to use any services that are offered to help him at this point. He's not able to be independent and won't be for quite some time if at all but the more help he has then the better his chances are. I'm going to let hubby know about it and then we'll discuss the best way to handle telling him about it. This may sound selfish but this isn't quite what I pictured our life would be like. Hubby and I had planned to buy some land and build on it along with hunt and have some chickens and whatever else we can come up with. That idea is looking pretty grim at this point.

Chicken soup sounds good.

Oh, he'll be going. One way or another he will go. He has to start participating more in his life. Hubby and I can only do so much. It's up to him to get up and make a happy, productive person out of himself. We've given him the tools but he hasn't learned to use them very well.

Give Alex two choices. 1. Go happily without a stink. 2. Go naked and screaming. He'll chose option one.

I forgot to take something out for dinner. ack. I think I have chicken soup in the freezer, though I should send it to Bamrz.
I'm fine now I think. Pretty sure it was too many sprouts. :(

Sprouts? As in brussel sprouts?
Yup. I had roasted a bunch the other day, and was snacking on the leftovers in the fridge.

Glad you're feeling better Bamrz!

Laughing so hard I'm crying right now. I just watched a Tim Conway skit. Hilarious.
I love him! :)
