Busy day here. I just got home from granny's and we sat down and talked to Alex. It went surprisingly well. The true test will be when we have to leave on Tuesday morning. Granny and I went to Ollies, Big Lots, and then I ran into the grocery store while she stayed in the car. I cleaned some when we got back and unloaded. She wasn't too steady on her feet today and was having a hard time moving even with the walker so I put the wheelchair in the trunk. That thing was heavy and clunky and I had to get it in and out three times. I think we're gonna be looking for a light weight one for traveling.

Earlier today I got a FB friend request notification on my phone. To my surprise it was from Morgan's boyfriend. I accepted the request just so I could see what he looked like. About an hour later my phone dinged with a message notification. It was Geo. He was very polite and asked my permission to date Morgan. I did respond and told him that I had no problem with them being boyfriend and girlfriend and seeing eachother at school but that she could not go on a date until she is 16. He responded with thank you very much. The minute I saw Morgan when I got home she had this sneaky smile on her face. Did she really think that would work in getting me to change my mind about her going out??

Am I being too much of a protective parent or prude because I won't let Morgan go to a halloween party with friends to a place I don't know with out an adult? It seems like the kids her age are doing so much more than we will allow her to do. She's just not mature or trustworthy enough but seriously, am I too protective?

No, that's being a good parent. So no, she should not go.

Is it feeling better Drott?

Good morning and happy Friday!

Work was easy peasy today. One mixed breed dog shaved down short. Owner very picky so hopefully she was satisfied.

I've come to the conclusion that teenage girls are the most dramatic people in the world.

The rest of the day did off and on housework while watching Grey's Anatomy in between.
