Good morning. I stayed up late but still had trouble falling asleep. I think I finally fell asleep around 5am and got up at 8. I'm a little tired. Maybe I can catch a quick nap later. Right now I've got chicken and dumplings going in the crock pot, chicken boiling on the stove to make chicken pot pies, and ground chuck cooking for a taco casserole. I'll freeze the two pies and casserole and have them next week for dinner.

We had planned to go pick up a glider swing from my granny's old house today but decided to do it later this week. Ebates had an Amazon special on fire pits. That would be cool to have. Is it just me or does anyone else keep a running wish list of stuff to buy when you have the extra money? I'll get bday money next week so I'll probably be making a chunky Amazon order. Hubby's planning on putting up a fence in the back for the dogs and we'll put the swing out back too. Maybe with a fire pit in front of it to make smores. Mmmmm!

Ruger got a bath bright and early this morning. For some strange unknown reason he pee'd on the couch then layed in it. Eew. Luckily my sofa is not fabric so it wiped right up. Not sure why he did that though. Strange.

Time to go fold laundry and finish up my freezer meals for the week. :)

I just put together 5 meals to freeze in about an hour. Super easy to do and now I don't have to cook next week. Just take one out, thaw, and stick in oven. I'm definitely doing this again. Next time I'll try for 10 meals at once. What an awesome help it will be. Now on to sweeping and mopping and put away clean clothes. After that I can sit and do some paperwork I've been needing to do. Yaaaay!!!!! I've been super productive today and it feels good.

got the Dolphin (ceramic wick) tank loaded up on the Fuchai. The taste is awesome!! It just needs a bit of time to warm up, so if you get one, don't put it on something that has a cutoff. I have to press the button for a couple seconds before the vapor starts.

I tried to make it through the day without a nap but I didn't make it. Hubby dozed off on the couch with yApollo and Morgan was asleep. I laid down with Apollo in my Snuggie and dozed off for a bit. Alex is finishing cooking dinner. Mainly cutting the biscuits for the dumplings and putting them in the pot. It's one less thing I have to do.

Just got a text that there are no dogs for tomroowo. I'm got to go put in an application for a p/t job at thr local herb shop. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Wish I could. They at leas pay for them selves. I was out giving the girls a speech again this morning. Here's how it plays out. I open the back of the nest boxes. The 5 of them come running in and look at me looking at the nest boxes. So I say this is unacceptable 1 egg out of 5 of ya. Their looking at me talking to me while I'm talking to them.:lol: It's like their so intent in what I'm saying. I cant help but crack up laughing.:lol:

I need to look at the dolphin tank.

Six hens=2 eggs per day right now. I keep glaring at the ducks, still not a single egg from them. They must not take me very seriously, the more I complain to them the louder they quack. Have I mentioned that I love ducks? Eggs or no, they are adorable.

Oh ugh Drott, we feel your pain on $$$. We don't have any insurance, so we feel the pain when we go to the Dr.

Poor Abbie. :(

That sucks about the insurance, Drott. And I hope Abbie gets to feeling better soon!

Hasn't been such a hot day here either. Started sometime in the middle of the night. I didn't hear the alarm go off so we woke up late and I had to take Morgan to school. Driving home I felt like a zombie. Ale x had a doctor appointment this morning but hubby thankfully got up and took him and then took him to the grocery store. I went back to bed and got up when they got back around 11. I couldn't stand straight enough to help put groceries away so I laid back down again and just woke up at 2:30!!!! I'm feeling a lttle better now but still not quite right. I can walk down the hall to the bathroom without holding on to the walls so that is improvement.

OH yeah, when I told hubby I was applying for that part time job he shot me down. He made a valid point.. I've been sick a lot lately and have a veryr understanding job so I don't need to add to the stress. Makes sense, just didn't think about it that way. Maybe when I'm feeling better I can look back into it.
