I don't know why, except it is our normal day, but we decided to go to the grrrr store today. What were we thinking? We met sooo many new nice people! NOT

Lesson learned...

Home safe and sound. Time for a single malt scotch or a Yuengling Lager. I like those decisions. :)

Here is to those who protect us!!! :toast:

Good morning. Did everyone have a nice day off yesterday?

Today I have to go groom my moms and granny's dogs. Then help granny with something to do with her pacemaker. Then this afternoon I have an appointment.

I only get one cup of coffee this morning because someone used almost all the creamer and drank all the milk. I'll have to stop on my way out and get another one. And make a trip to the store on my way home this afternoon for more.

Good morning!

We went to a cookout at a friends house, then back over to the camper to watch the spectacle. Yep, countless people trying to maneuver boats and rvs all at once while trying to avoid each other, with dogs and kids all running around at the same time. It was great viewing from our lawn chairs.

The cauldron is a bit backed up this morning, so back to it I go!

Hoping all went well. Maybe FVs to blurry to tell us. Or my guess is a stop on the way home for a nice dinner.
Drott wins! I'm blurry from the eye exam and stuff. And stopped at Five Guys for dinner. I think I'm going to explode.

Looks like my eyes are as good as they are going to be, he said it shouldn't be blurry, tests say that the eye is fine. Great, now he needs to convince my eye. Guess I'll be getting contacts for one eye, at least it will be half the bill that it used to be.

I got to leave early! Supervisor was yammering at me as I was outside having a vape before coming back from lunch. "this guy and this guy are on the window, this guy is doing this, you need to do this" Which would have taken all of about 20 minutes. That was at 10:30. I told her "Or I could go home early", she agreed! :)

Yay for leaving early!

We had a meeting at vocational rehab for Alex today and it went really well. He decided on his own, without our pushing and nagging, to go back to the voc rehab classes every day. He stopped a couple of weeks ago. He said he realizes he needs it and it will help him to get a job soon. He also requested on his own to go back to therapy. I found him a counselor highly recommended to treat Asperger's Syndrome. He had his first appointment today. Hubby and I went back with him for the first appointment to answer questions and talk about all of our concerns. Alex has a lot more insight into what he needs to be working on than I thought. I am really proud of him! Hopefully some positive changes will come about soon. At least for him. Still working on the devil child, Morgan.

I would have jumped at the chance too Bamrz. Have you had a chance to go riding yet this year?

Homemade fettuccine alfredo tonight. No leftovers so it must have been good. :)

Eyes are a bit better tonight, I think they had just had more than their fair share of being poked, prodded, etc. So in a few weeks I go in to see if a contact in the right one will make me happier. *whew*

That is awesome news about Alex Tiff!!!!!

The drunks insurance company is not being very cordial about the repairs to our truck. They don't see how our air lift system leaking on that side could possibly be caused by the accident. Um, nice try, it was fine minutes before impact. And they don't think they should have to cover the twisted extra fuel tank in the bed. That was fine too. :grr: I want it back to exactly how it was right before their idiot slammed into us. We have a lawyer appointment Friday morning. ugh.
