Sorry about your poopy day Tiff. :(

Hint on the internet thing - unplug the router, that will take care of it.
What she said.

And good morning! It's chilly out, 65. Is the heat wave over out east?

We went to Golden Corral and ate too much last night.

Happy Saturday, all!

James: I LOVE the colors on that bike. What a beaut.

Tiff: Be careful at work today - that guy sounds like a loose cannon. :grr:

Dogs eating frogs cracked me up. In my house, we have Halibut the Fish Dog now to keep Charlie company. GF and stepson got a "shepherd mix" rescue, who they named Holly (after MMA fighter Holly Holmes - don't ask). GF kept calling her "Holly ....", and I told her it sounded like she was calling her "Halibut", so I nicknamed her "Halibut the fish dog" and it stuck. She's now 7 months old. She eats everything that doesn't eat her first but she can't find a frog in my yard, so at least there's that.

 Halibut! I love it. Frog dog has been behaving, the frogs see him coming now and all disappear. As Victor does not like getting wet, they are safe in the water.

Are you doing anything exciting this weekend? We're thinking of going fishing tomorrow if the weather is decent.

I love Golden Corral. They have the best bread pudding.

Love the fish dog, Rick! Too funny!

Work went about how I expected it to go. Valorie and I got there and started working. Jordan decided to show up and asked her mom if .... head could come in and clean kennels in the back and just stay back there away from us. Her mom said no. If he comes in here she'd call the police again. She did end up calling them yesterday and said they would give him one warning then he would be arrested for trespassing. Undoubtedly during all this yesterday afternoon he called her every name under the sun. So her mom said he couldn't come in today so Jordan decided she wasn't going to stay and work. Valorie and I did her dogs. Fine by me cause I got a big chow shave down that was $75 along with my other two. That girl needs to get her head screwed on right. They both need to grow up. He gets disability and blows every bit of it on Michael Jordan tennis shoes, phone gadgets and vape equipment. She spends all her food stamps on snacks and drinks at the gas station instead of putting food on the table for her son. Lynn takes care of him so he doesn't go with out but if it weren't for her he would. For now he's gone but he'll be back. I give it two weeks, a month tops. They'll both be back and it will start all over again. I'm only there half a day three days a week so he can kiss it while I'm there but leave my kid out of it.

Other than that not a very eventful day at all. I just got home and made me a kale, apple, strawberry, carrot, and acia smoothie. It's quite yummy. Trying my hardest to keep this stupid weight from coming back. Hubby can consume half a gallon of icecream and not gain a pound. All I have to do is breathe around it and I gain ten. Anyway, I'm not letting a years worth of hard work go down the tubes. Morgan and I now wear the same size and she is constantly wanting to borrow my clothes. Actually I wear a size smaller pants than her but all my tops she wants to borrow. I'm not at all interested in borrowing or being seen in public with some of her clothes. There are a few outfits she has that I will not let her wear if she goes out in public with me. One is a pair of shiny leggings that has one red leg and one black leg.

Tacos for dinner. Morgan is cooking it. I won't eat it so no point in me making it. It'll do her good to do some cooking on her own. I'll have my standard salad. Time to mop. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Work is not supposed to include drama, I would have been tempted to kick his ...

Still nice out here, Mr. V is putting an outdoor outlet in so that we don't have to run an extension cord to the back of the pole building. Yep, fun times at the hut.

I wish I was going fishing! Took the dogs to the pet place to get them some food and socialization, cleaned up back yard a bit, and now I'm being lazy. You'd never know it now, but most of my life I was a dyed-in-the-wool fisherman.

The fish dog doesn't see the humor, Tiff. Not that I care, mind you.

Re: owner's daughter and her whatever-he-is: Some people spend their entire lives sucking the cream out of the Twinkies and expecting the whole rest of the world to eat the sponge cake. These people suck.

Good on ya for the diet, and a leaner, meaner Tiff! I used to be like your hubby. Those days seem to be gone. Hence, the Atkins Diet I'm on right now. *sigh*

I've never tried the Atkins diet. I've spent the last year and a half on weight watchers though.

Those twinkie cream suckers do indeed suck. I just can't imagine putting some free loading lazy and possessive person before my kid and livelihood.

Tempted, yes but was nice and let Lynn handle it THIS time. I won't be so nice if there is a next time. When Morgan goes to work with me I make her work filling up shampoo bottles, folding towels, vacuuming and sweeping up dog hair, helping me hold dogs still and bathing dogs, cleaning dog poop, etc. She doesn't get to just sit there and be lazy and expect me to give her everything. I pay her and that gives her incentive to do well. Shhh....don't tell her about minimum wage. [emoji23]

Drott's Dog House
Afternoon. Slept in for a change. But still got the turtles set up in their new tank. The preformed pond was a bi tch to clean. Soo Tsc had a nice 110 gallon stock tank with a drain. Not the Rubbermaid but this one looks nicer all smooth. Was surprised there was still 9 of the 50 feeder fish still alive. They grew a bit in the 2 months they were in there.
Dog yard cleaned. Chicks tended.

Are you going to sink it in the ground or leave it free standing, Drott?

Curtains in a man cave??
I need to cover the windows with something. It's right at the top of the driveway, so I don't want anyone to be able to see in. Plus it needs to be able to be darkened for watching TV. I went with dark brown bamboo things. No worries, not an ounce of fluff out there. There isn't an ounce of fluff in the hut either. I'm more of a black/chrome kinda gal. And I hate clutter, so no do dads sitting around.

Lucky turtles at Drotts house! Please take a pic of them so we can see. :)

No fishing today, for some reason the lakes are over run with tourists this weekend. They are everywhere! We'll go after work one of these evenings.

Dammit! I bought some mini blinds on Amazon to replace the ones in the bathroom that the cat broke some slats on, and it's too freaking short! :-x I ordered (and the box is marked) 22 1/2", but my tape measure says it's 21". One tug and it will fall out of the brackets, and I don't feel like re-drilling them. Strangely enough, there is a sticker inside the top of the blinds with a 21 on it. :grr:
