Howdy folks!
Sessions, Stretchy, Rick, good to see y'all back around here!
As you can all imagine, things are still running crazy around here. We found out that we've done more installations in the last 5 weeks than Atlanta did year to date. With a higher than expected turn over rate, our techs have been running at 110%. That in itself has caused some of the turnover. People start doing residential installs and then realize that there is actual WORK involved.
My new guy is working out really well and has done an AMAZING job helping me out. I've been able to concentrate on managing the warehouse while he takes care of his portion of it.
But with the high workload, managing the warehouse, CJ starting soccer season, Melanie starting fall softball season, and Kat now playing on an 18U team for travelball, plus I'm finally going back to the gym on a regular basis, I just dont have the time to check in nearly as often as I would like to.
Oh, about Kat's softball team. She tried out for them several weeks ago, and then played in a one day tournament with them. The coach was kind of hesitant to let her play too much because she's only 13, and a couple of his girls had already graduated high school. But after that day, he invited her to play with them. She accepted, and after our summer season with the 14U team was done, she told the coaches of her decision to leave. Then I FORCED her, and I mean FORCEFULLY FORCED her to take two weeks off to give her body a chance to recuperate from 6 weekends straight of tournaments. Her first practice was last Thursday. She made several of her teammates "mad". The coach had her in left field, and she didnt let a single hit get passed her during batting practice, then she followed those plays up with perfect throws to the infield. The catcher popped up after Kat made a particularly gorgeous catch and throw and yelled "KAT! HOW OLD DID YOU SAY YOU WERE?!?" Kat yelled "THIRTEEN!" The catch turned away, threw her glove down, and said under her breath "That is BULL $*!+", but with a smile on her face. She looked at me and said "I'm a junior. The third baseman is a SENIOR. And she has lit ALL of us up today!" I just sat back and smiled and said, "Arent you glad she's on your team?" the reply was an enthusiastic "HE11 YES!" So yeah. My 13 year old is making a habit of blowing up the games of girls up to five years older than she is. Proud Papa Moment!!!
The bike is in the shop. Mrs E is mad at me for it. There were some electrical issues that needed to be ironed out. After several days of chasing them down, I gave up on it and took it in. I told the mechanic/shop owner he had until my next payday to make the repairs. When that time comes, I will be riding as much as possible before the end of the season.

Our pool temps are pushing 90+. Its only relaxing when you get out and the breeze hits your wet skin. Otherwise, it's like taking a bath in a REALLY big tub. I thought about buying a few pounds of dry ice. It'll drop the water temp a few degrees and look REALLY cool doing it!Like it, except for the rolls. I hate when I do stuff like that.
Crazy day in hutsville, and I'm COLD! It's in the 60's. I refuse to look at the pool temp because I will probably lose my last marble.
carry on...
No. No it isnt. Still "well above average temps" here. I'm ready for the 90+ degree days to go away. Just not too quickly! What she said.
And good morning! It's chilly out, 65. Is the heat wave over out east?
We went to Golden Corral and ate too much last night.
I love how the bike was repainted. I swore up and down I would never get a bike that had been wrecked, but this one was just too nice to pass up. Unfortunately, she's now in the shop. I got tired of chasing electrical gremlins all over the bike. But I'll have it back no later than the end of the month. JUST in time for the temps to become perfect riding weather!Happy Saturday, all!
James: I LOVE the colors on that bike. What a beaut.
Tiff: Be careful at work today - that guy sounds like a loose cannon.
Dogs eating frogs cracked me up. In my house, we have Halibut the Fish Dog now to keep Charlie company. GF and stepson got a "shepherd mix" rescue, who they named Holly (after MMA fighter Holly Holmes - don't ask). GF kept calling her "Holly ....", and I told her it sounded like she was calling her "Halibut", so I nicknamed her "Halibut the fish dog" and it stuck. She's now 7 months old. She eats everything that doesn't eat her first but she can't find a frog in my yard, so at least there's that.
Halibut the Fish Dog...

I can honestly say you are NOT the last person to give up on cartos. It took me forever to give up on my CE2's. And I still have several boxes of them. Just in case. Now, I use my ProTank2. ONLY. I would like to try RDA's or RBA's or PHD's or whatever the heck theyre called... But I cant afford the initial set up and supplies needed to do... The Mistress has taken up too much of the funds and Mrs E is PIZZED about it.Ok, first things first, YES, I have the vape band twisted in the top pick, DUH. I think I may have made a mistake going with 12mg on this load. Still living in the high NIC days of my cartos, and probably should have gone down to maybe 6mg or even 3mg. The House Blend moved in like it lived there !!!!!! Massive clouds as you would expect from the "No added PG" mix, very good (maybe too much, but MY mistake for the 12 mg NIC) throat hit, and the flavor ...........
OutSTANDING !!!!!!!! I can't believe how much MORE flavor I'm getting compared to the olden times cartos. Flavor is easily 5/5 now. Everyone I spoke to said that was what the Steam Crave RDTA's were known for, and they were right. The curious thing is that I'm almost getting more of a chocolate note now, and far more than before.
I was probably the LAST person on the planet to let go of cartos, and finally move on to rebuildables, fearing leaking, fussy fussy fussy-ness, and / or hassles building coils (who the hell has the time for that ??? !!!!)
Sadly with all the inexpensive Kanthal wire, super cheap Japanese organic cotton, and myriad of YT videos, and the SUPER EASY Coil Master coil jiggs, anyone can do it super easy.
FV, NO regrets whatsoever loading the all VG House Blend into the RDTA, as it was ALL plus, and no minuses. I have to scour the Copper Creek (you're HOW old ??) website and see if I can activate my (you put HOW much NIC into WHAT...) coupon for a 3mg or 6mg bottle. Only problem was MY mistake.
House seems NEW again, and that's a hell of a thing.
Shout out to the Posse !!!
Look into "Maxi" scooters. They look like big versions of regular scooters, weigh about 500 pounds. But they can travel at interstate speeds. And, they're automatics!Any one have a Honda? how are they? Thinking of a 650 Honda scooter. Because of the arther in my left hand holding the clutch in is super painful. The scooters are auto.
Is a Protank considered a clearo??? I dont even know any more...Good morning Rick!
I think Tiff uses them. And James uses clearos too as far as I know.
*WHEW* MADE IT!!! That was a marathon!Looks like James is working his way in. Hi James!!!!!
