Mornin' all. Just a fly by howdy-do this morning.
Traffic left me stranded at work until 6:30 yesterday. Someone rolled his semi off the interstate and it took them almost 8 hours before they could get him out. They ended up cutting the floorboards out to get to him. Then they shut down the interstate again early this morning to get the truck off the side of the road. THEN there was a wreck on my route in. Thankfully, I heard about it before I left the house and I was able to adjust accordingly.
If I were to leave on time today, I would have 51 hours this week. And since I'm salaried, thats basically me working for free. So, as soon as I get my list for today complete, I'm rolling out of here, hopefully, around lunch time.
Then it'll be a trip to the gym, get home in time for kids to get off the bus, then I'll be in the pool all afternoon. I'll be beerless, but at this point, I dont even care. I just want to relax.

Ugh...I have to have my operating labor budget for next year finalized by the end of the day, and I'm stuck. There is some discrepancy in my planned hours, and I can't find it. 
I love it when Finance comes out of nowhere and gives us no time to finalize a budget. AND they still haven't told me how much I'm going to get in terms of labor dollars, so I'm flying blind. No matter what I come up with, I get the sense I'm going to have to cut it.

Drove all over Downtown Columbus and only went the wrong way on a one way street once..Ta Da! I'm kinda like Moses parting the Red Sea whilst driving downtown..I took a left on 5th...Apparently that's not allowed..

I found it, btw. Or rather, THEM. I think I have a budget proposal. I really DO have a headache.
Well done Stretchy! I once drove down a street where no vehicles are allowed for about 4 blocks before someone yelled at me. A sign would have been nice.
All caught up! I won't be working this weekend. 
This is just one reason I'm SOOOO glad to not be doing bookkeeping any more!
Sounds like here. Can't Waite will soon be cool enough to bake again.Trade ya a double dram of single malt for two slices of oh-so-good home baked bread. I need to bake some...but no one around here 'cept me cares if I do or not. Philistines.... Who doesn't like fresh-baked bread?!?
As soon as it starts cooling off a bit I think I'll bake some, too. Even if I have to (get to?) eat it all myself.

I am so jealous.
I'm so sad. Our pool never reached decent swimming temps. It's 68 today. whaaaaa!
