My Jeep is fixed! Apparently nothing too major. Holding my breath for the next couple days hoping the "check engine" light doesn't come on again.

Hopefully you are long gone to the main hut by now. I actually managed to get out semi-on time (less than a 10 hour day) today. It felt like a miracle given how this week has gone!

Hooray for car repairs that are less than expected! I know what you mean about the cell phone. Mine has to be on borrowed time. It's a Galaxy S4 Mini I've had for um...3 years? Maybe longer?
Mine is an antiques slidey keyboard phone. The slidey thing gave up, makes the screen scrambled.
If I don't use that part it works sort of OK. But I need to get a new phone.
My life is so exciting, I'm looking for staples for my antique stapler.

12 political commercials in a row. Cant wait till the BS is over. Chops on the grill baked potatoes,peas and beans.
I got a really nice cheeseburger after work today, I practically inhaled it!

Good late morning. All windows in shack open. Been up since 6:00 wanted to sleep in. Woke up and remembered what I forgot last evening. So had to get up. Forgot to turn the water off in the chic, duck run. Good for our water bill. NOT

Been productive though. Paper, read. Corn chowder in crock pot. Eggs a boiling for red beet eggs. Waiting for hubby to get back so I can finish mixing It.
Mmmm, red beet eggs! Sounds like a wonderful idea! I should make a batch to take to Ian's house for Thanksgiving.
Since only 1 of the girls are laying now I hit the 2 dozen for 1.00 sale last week. Not as good as my girls eggs but good enough.
OMG...I must thank the lord for this beautiful weekend...We had the carpet installed and the thing I was most worried about was little Vlad The Impaler bird. Quakers drop dead literally from chemical smells.Fabreeze kills them like Raid does roaches. I knew I was going to have to let the windows stay open to air out the smell and I dreaded it..But it's been a 72 southern breeze weekend here in Nevernear. I put him in our bedroom and shut the door with a fan directly on him. Opened every window in the house and voila.Smell gone..Moving him back to his place on Monday.Happy Sunday everybody!
