It's going to be 60 here tomorrow. We always get it one day before Pa..The only problem with that is. This kinda happened in 1977 when it was almost 65 outside with rain and the day after it was a bona fide blizzard.Every pipe in the house froze.I went from room to room with a hairdryer trying to keep them from bursting..The Ohio river froze over. You could walk from Cincinnati to Newport Ky.Good times.
I dislike all of that Stretchy.
It's 11 here. And the new snow has started, we're supposed to get 8-10 with blowing and drifting. yuck. So we finished our work and bailed out early. Ran over to the Humane Society and dropped off kitty food, then came home.

I wish this global warming would make up its mind! Yesterday COLD. Today freezing rain. Tomorrow in the 50's. I'm on hold waiting for tomorrow...

So it's heading to 60 supposedly..I don't know what happened overnight but all surfaces are ice skating rinks...I'm not even going out to get the mail...When Mr. Crabbypants is gone,I prep for all situations. I'm so glad I did..I don't really have to go out. Hot Chocolate and Christmas Movies all day long...and present wrapping.
I need pictures...so I can pretend they are mine..We're baking cookies. If we have to get snow, we might as well have cookies.
Cookies baked bread rising again. day started like this. Lost my fav bread recipe, but found one close. Put ingredients in bread machine came together nice. While the breads mixing and doing its 1st rise I bake 4 dozen cookies they fought me too. 
By then it was time to kneed the bread for the pan. Baked another 4 dozen cookies. Bread raised nicely. Picked it up to put it in the oven and it deflated like a balloon. Sooo kneaded it again waiting to see if it rises again.

I liked it for the effort Drott, lol. Hopefully it rises nicely and bakes well. I do hate when baking fights back. I just made pasta dough and was all crabby because it wasn't coming together. Then I noticed the last egg still sitting in the cup. 
I think it's going to be okay. Maybe. We'll see.

Just wish I knew which days were going to be good. Some days you can bake all day with out incidents. Other days things start going wrong before you get the inresidence out.

Same here. Today doesn't seem to be my day for baking. Maybe I'll just quit now with my lame pasta.
Bread will do. Wish Sally would drop by that's who I got My good Italian bread recipe from. I think of her every time I made it.
Hello Gang, life got a bit busy around here had that quad by-pass in march of 2014 then aug of 2015 vickie lost her dad then feb of this yr i lost mine .... Vickie and i both got can-am spyders and just having a blast riding around looking for fine places to eat farther away from home the better lol so how has everyone been doing? Bruce AKA Veeha

I give a round of applause to both of you. I have stale enriched white bread and a few Oreos...and frozen pizza...I am just not good at baking. My Sister is a Master Bakery Chef..and she makes it look so easy...I just never got the hang of it. But I'm more interested in learning now more than I ever did..I've tried different recipes for stuff.Mr. Crabbypants bears with me but I notice he's so happy when the crockpot is going..It's fail safe.
