I'll stick with my stainless ones. I love them.
I also have a set of stainless, one big skillet plus several sizes of pots. Bought them right around the time Ian was born, so they're a bit over 30 yrs old, indestructible! Just heavy naked SS, with a thick bottom that has aluminum inside the SS for quicker heating. Made by Belgique, caught the $300 set for under $100 when a store went out of business. :)

Was your boss mad? :D
Yep, I was mad. The power had gone out so my alarm was out. I was shocked that even Victor didn't wake up on time. He could have starved to death in that extra hour before breakfast.
Good morning from sunny hutsville!

I've been at work the last 2 days more than I used to be at work for 2 weeks. I. am. beat. 9 dogs and a cat in 2 days. So much for my 2 to 3 small dogs a day. [emoji23] The poor cat was not happy at all about the bath. I wasn't thrilled either. [emoji23] Then after work today a 3 hour trip to Walmart for groceries. whooo hooo! On the plus side, I bought myself something while I was there and came home to 2 big Amazon boxes filled with stuff all for me. Well, except for the turkey baster.

I sure hope the weather fibbers are wrong with their forecast for tomorrow night thru Wednesday afternoon. They are going to make the crazies come out tomorrow at the grrrr store getting their bread, eggs, and milk (It is our normal day to get bread, eggs, and milk.) Scaring us into believing it will be a big NorEaster of 10-18 inches of snow. I have the snow blower set to def con 4 just in case they are correct. Did I mention it was in the 60s in the not too distant past?

I'm hoping they are wrong too, Punkin. :(

How cool is this and is it dangerous because it takes 2 batteries? I heard your mod shouldn't have 2 batteries...

The only mod I trust with 2 batteries is the iStick100wTC. It runs them parallel instead of in series (will run with only one battery, NOT stacked). I don't use the TC, but they are GREAT for battery life!

Stretchy, we don't mind that you're crazy. It makes you fun to hang out with.

I would like one of those..It's Mr. Crabbypants's Birthday.I made him Gnocchi Soup and Creme Brulle. Just stopped by to brag about it...

I'd brag about fixing that, too.

I have officially worked ALL weekend. 3 classes I'm teaching, 1 I'm taking (the university lost the records for my online/hybrid teaching certification so I had to re-do it), and trying to keep an eye on work through email while my weekend duty manager is managing the new, higher volume plus trying to keep the move project going forward. It's finals weekend in the 3 I'm teaching...ugh.

3 weeks to go until I get to escape for 2 weeks and go see my kids in NC. If the move isn't done and we're not operationally stable by then, I'm going anyway. I can look for a job when I get back!

Up until 2 this afternoon it was suppose to be cold...Nothing wet.Now we're going to be snowed in. I wonder how FV is doing.
I do make a mean bowl of Gnocchi Soup..He only ate half the of the Creme Brulee..He's not a sweets man in more ways than one.
Don't give up your vacation for anyone. Life is short and all we ever do is work..

Get lots of milk and bread!

"...and all we ever do is work". Truer words were never spoken. I'm not giving up this trip for anyone or anything. Gonna go hang out with the kids.

I've been getting into radio-controlled quadcopters since last year. I used to fly RC gliders way back when. Lately I've been taking a break from school work every 2-3 hours or so and going outside and flying for 10 minutes to clear my head. It helps!
