I am always glad when the weather liars are wrong in our favor. They changed it to where we were supposed to get 2 feet with wind just under blizzard conditions. I can't believe I'm happy we got about 12 inches and the wind is 20-25 sustaining for the next couple of days. Outside cleanup is done. Time to relax... :)

Get lots of milk and bread!

"...and all we ever do is work". Truer words were never spoken. I'm not giving up this trip for anyone or anything. Gonna go hang out with the kids.

I've been getting into radio-controlled quadcopters since last year. I used to fly RC gliders way back when. Lately I've been taking a break from school work every 2-3 hours or so and going outside and flying for 10 minutes to clear my head. It helps!
My Father in Law used to fly radio controlled planes. He built them himself and would take them down to Lunken Airfield in Cincinnati to fly them. It was some sort of club. He would have been in heaven if he could pilot a drone. He passed about 4 years ago but he loved to fly them.

 We're classified as essanceal so unless one of Penn Dot big dodos decide to close we'll be there. Only closed 3 x in the 17 + years I've been there. the Harrisburg offices close though. So we sit board to death.
Who in their right mind takes a driving test in a foot of snow?

You had work today? The POs in my area were closed. Yea for nice neighbors.
They wouldn't close, but there really wasn't any mail. The only thing that made it to our office was the Amazon stuff.

Yuck to all that snow you guys got! I'm glad you got unstuck, Bamrz. Happy you had liquor to make the day better Punkin and glad you got the day off Drott. No snow here. Over cast a bit but cold as heck tonight. Temps dropping below freezing.

Took Granny to the doctor this morning then Morgan to an appointment this afternoon. Got home and found a cute 40+/- pound puppy hanging out in our yard. Looks to be an American Bulldog. Very friendly. No collar. Docked tail. Not neutered. Well fed. No fleas. Two tiny ticks that I removed. Ears looked good. Skin looked good. My guess is he escaped from someone's fence because he obviously spent a good deal of time outside because his nails were ground down very short. NOT the kind of dog that has the coat that should be kept outside all the time. Morgan goes outside every afternoon and sits for a while and listens to music. The dog hung out with her the entire time. We tried putting a collar and leash on him to take him through the neighborhood to see if he belonged to anyone here but he flipped out with the leash. Morgan tried and then I tried. He definitely has no leash training. No way I could handle pulling him down the street. I'd end up on my ..... So, I took a pic of him and we went door to door. Ended up not needing the pic because he followed us the whole time. No luck. He then followed us back home. And sat at our front door, pawing at the door wanting in. I took him some food and water and a blanket. Finally I caved and brought him inside and put him in Apollo's kennel for the night. He's sleeping soundly and is warm and full. Hubby said he'll take him to the local vet tomorrow and see if he has a chip. Beyond that I have no clue what we'll do if we don't find his owner. He definitely belonged to someone. I just hope he wasn't dumped out. I posted his pic on our town website/forum. Looked like someone else had done the same thing earlier today too but described him as a pit bull. He is not a pit. I don't want to call animal control because so many dogs with his "look" end up euthanized because they look like bully breeds. I personally think he's an American Bulldog.

I'll post a pic in the next post. It's on my phone so I'll post it from Tapatalk. Guess I better try to go to sleep.
