Glad to hear one of your kiddos is coming home!

Weather was nice out today. I didn't get much cleaning done but there's always tomorrow. Tomorrows schedule looks pretty clean. One phone call in the morning that I have every Monday at 10. It's a friend of mine that lives in North Dakota and we talk once a week and schedule it because we both have hectic schedules so we always know every Monday at 10am we get to talk. Sounds silly I know but otherwise we play phone tag. We text through out the week but it's nice to have an actual talk too.

We bought a "new" used sofa and loveseat today. It wasn't planned really but I saw it on a local yard sale/for sale/in search of Facebook group. Our other sofa was shot. There were tears and rips in it and seams coming apart, literally. Stuffing coming out. Leather peeling off. With four dogs it's a must that we have something that can be easily wiped off. With all the holes and tears in it I think dog hair and such had gotten into it and settled along with dust and other yuckiness and was playing a part in my allergies and asthma acting up so bad lately. So I saw this set and it was perfect. Paid $250. I'll post a pic in the next post from my phone. It's probably not the best quality but it is easy to clean, no tears or holes, doesn't smell, and I could afford it. It's probably gonna have to be my Mother's Day gift but that's fine. It was desperately needed. It's a tight squeeze but we made it fit. As long as nothing is moved out of place we're good.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!!

It's a deep, dark brown. More like expresso colored. Love it!

FV, I logged into your website and noticed I changed our mailing address last month but forgot to also change the shipping address. Both are now the same and should go to the PO Box. Your site is easy because you have a place for both but if I knew ahead of time all the problems created by simply wanting to use a PO Box on other sites, I would never have done it.

No worries Punkin, I forgot to mail your package. I'll send it out tomorrow, I promise.

It is good you didn't mail it. The post office would have returned it to you as address unknown even though we didn't move anywhere but just added a PO Box. I wish I never told them to forward our mail because they don't forward parcels, they just send them back. I can't even order from FedEx or UPS because sometimes they will send it SmartPost or SurePost where it is turned over to the USPS for delivery to the house address which doesn't exist anymore. Now I think I am crabby and I can't take a day off since that is my normal job! I know, I can have an adult beverage or two and not worry about it either...
