Hope everyone has a good start to the week. The weather is looking pretty yucky here. The winds are supposed to pick up this afternoon and go into tomorrow morning. We got everything charged and are prepared for the possibility of no power. Hopefully that won't be an issue and Ed, Morgan and I can sit here and binge watch The Walking Dead all day. Alex has to work. That sounds really strange saying that. LOL

So I was wondering in natural disaster situations, Whats the USPS do with all the mail packages etc? Do they have rooms in their buildings that they put it in?

Generally, there's no mail kept in the individual offices. The only thing we have are certified letters, Registered mail, Express mail, parcels, vacation mail (when mail is on hold for a customer who is out of town) and P.O. box mail waiting for people to come pick it up. I can't say for sure what happens to all that when they know a hurricane is coming, but I would HOPE it gets picked up and taken to a secure location out of the disaster zone.
