For me, this all makes me seriously doubt the conventional notion that you're essentially free of nicotine addiction in 72 hours (see WhyQuit.com). Whenever I managed to go cold turkey off smokes, it always seemed like it was about a month for the chemical difficulties to go. I now know that, for me, any new nicotine level takes me about a month to get comfortable with. In any case, YMMV.

The morning of Day 6 test results are still positive.
This is starting to make me unhappy.
:(

I only bought 10 tests.
I may need to order more right away.

You could switch to Testing every 2 Days?

But that wouldn't tell you the Exact Day that you went Negative.

Oh great, the company I bought the test kits from have different test kits now...

The ones they sent me 15 days ago...

The ones they have now...

They say they are the same, but this could add an unwanted confounding factor...

The suspense is killing me ...

Please test negative soon ... :thumb:

There is always great satisfaction in circumventing an unjust policy, even when it takes enormous effort ...

Yeah... I've got "Two Large" on DC2 going negative on Day 9.

LOL

Dude, I live in California, and none of my coworkers use nicotine.

On breaks you can find them all at Starbucks.
Sucking down as much caffeine as their budgets permit.
;)

The last place I worked in RB was a block away from a Starbucks, almost totally supported by junior engineers with a caffeine IV and wifi addiction ...

When the company blocked social media on their intranet, the office got very quiet and seriously depopulated ...

I have a 10 pack of Nic test strips ($9.83) in my cart at Amazon. I'm just waiting until I have some more add-on items to get the free shipping under the Amazon Prime agreement. The 22 answered questions and the comments say that if you pass these test strips you will pass any employee test for tobacco use.

I'm down to 3mg juice and curious if that will pass on these strips. It's starting to sound like I won't.

How did we ever survive in the days without all that social media.
I remember playing baseball, riding dirt tracks, jumping off bridges, and never using a helmet.

Yeah, how DID we ever survive?

I can't imagine how I ever lived to adulthood riding my bike and skating without a helmet and knee pads. I managed to never shoot my eyes out with my Daisy model 99, but I did put a BB in my fingertip once while checking air velocity after oiling the barrel. Apparently, a BB was stuck in congealed oil and was loosened by the addition of more lube.

Did u read some of the reviews? Crazy 1 stars

My favorite was the one where Dad caught his Teen smoking and the kid tested negative. You have to wonder what it was he actually was "smoking"!! I'm sure the Kid was sweating until Dad read the strip wrong. 2 lines = negative. A "C" line and no "T" line = positive. Sounds like Dad was expecting some lines to show and didn't read the directions.

It was funny! but I have in the past bought medical strips that gave false positive, so I'm wondering if the op got a bad patch of test strips

I can't believe this is an issue for Americans! Well done for having the foresight to find out before you really need to :)

It can Actually be a Huge Issue for someone.

Because there are some States where Employers can Deny someone Employment if they Test Positive for Nicotine.
