What does the cranberry (yuck, barf) juice do, flush your system faster? Well, obviously, but why?

It does. And it can act as a Blood Thinner. Also chucked full of "C" and Antioxidants.

Cranberry

I think Cranberry juice taste Great. And in my Drinking Career, I was known to have put a Dash of Vodka in a Tall Glass of Cranberry juice every now and again.

The early Day 4 test just came back positive.
:(

The test kits I used were called NicAlert and I ordered them from NicAlert - Quantitative Instant Saliva Professional Nicotine Test + Second Hand Smoke. Cost was about $14 each.
I'm going to buy a couple of these and see what happens.
It will be nice to compare saliva results with the urine results.

But they've apparently gone up in price a bit at $17 bucks a pop.
Not entirely sure yet how many I'm going to get.

It just makes me really happy that I can't afford ANY insurance.

It just makes me happy that I am on the down hill side of my lifetime. I am getting so very tired of the nanny world we are living in when something like this is even necessary :(

Just curious...

What was you prior 7 Day Average e-Liquid Intake?

ie: mg/ml x ml per day.
Hmmmm, someone is not paying attention.

I stated that in the opening post...
Anyway, I have been using less than 2ml of 12mg liquid every day for the last 6.5 years.

But thanks for giving me the opportunity to repeat it.
I'm sure others missed it as well, as the opening post IS kinda long.
:)

The morning of Day 5 and test results are still positive.
I'm actually quite unpleasantly surprised by this.
:(
I think all of the "2 to 4 days" information on the Internet must have been posted or sponsored by insurance carriers and companies that discriminate against nicotine users.

I didn't believe a word of it and gave myself 8 weeks the first time I had to "quit" and 4 weeks the second time.

I should probably note...

So far I have not noticed any decrease in mental acuity.
I have been holding my own during Jeopardy for the last couple of nights.

I still wish they had more sports categories though.
I absolutely destroyed the NFL nicknames category last night.

Also, watching the stock market fall apart is most definitely causing me some stress.
But here I sit, puffing away on zero nicotine, without wanting to kill anyone.

YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY.

There's a little bit of misinformation floating around about this.

In general, anything that is detectable in urine (at all) will take about a month to pass. Whether it's *ahem* illicit in nature or not. A little birdy told me cranberry juice or niacin pills will really help to cleanse your urine, but I recommend sticking around a bathroom if you're gonna consume a couple jugs of juice/a few pills a day because they're pretty strong diuretics (and partial laxatives).

Saliva, however, is waaay more flimsy. You can trick a saliva test with something as simple as using hydrogen peroxide as mouthwash. Someone who isn't me passed a saliva test despite imbibing in the very substance they were testing for the night before. But because they're so easy to fool I'd be very surprised if your insurance company used saliva as it's test. You never know though.

Hey what is a 500 Point fall in the DOW? A 2% Decline? Nothing to worry about.

And some see the way the Market is Moving as an Opportunity to Buy.

I second the excitement factor of knowing that life is more than "half over" , death can't come soon enough for me .:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Wow, from the above link...
What if an employee is using nicotine replacement therapy (NRT)?
As cotinine is a metabolite of nicotine, individuals using nicotine replacement therapy (such as the patch or gum) will test positive for cotinine and therefore should not be tested. We recommend adding a third option to your affidavit for “recently quit, currently using NRT.” For individuals claiming use of NRT we recommend the following options: 1. Advise them to enroll in the Quit For Life® Program and complete the required activities to receive the incentive. 2. Test employee using CO monitor which measures carbon monoxide, not cotinine, if there is no trace of Carbon Monoxide, employer awards employee the discount. 3. Retesting at a later date.
I wish my company would follow the guidelines above.
Then I wouldn't even have to be dealing with this absurd bunch of crap.

Will e-cigarette users test positive for cotinine?
E-cigarettes do contain nicotine and therefore users will test positive for cotinine. E-cigarettes have not been approved by the FDA as a nicotine replacement therapy; however we recommend clients follow the same procedure for e-cigarette users as that for employees who claim to be recently quit and using NRT. Individuals who fall into this category and are randomly selected for nicotine testing should be considered a non-tobacco user and tested at a later date. Clients should develop their own policy for those rare instances where individuals are using e-cigarettes recreationally on a long-term basis (i.e. not as part of a tobacco cessation regime).
Really?

REALLY?!?!

Why do I feel like a criminal after reading that?

It is the way of the world my friend.

Agenda motivated minds never - ever back down.

I seem to remember a whole Superior Race thing many decades ago. Took a World war to stop the movement.
