^^Kind of disturbing to read that.
Hopefully not an attempt at humor during a truly dire and possibly deadly situation unless it was a nervous laughter? I understand that Some people do laugh when they are having high anxiety and nervous about something?

[I use "lol" when I have a big smile, a little chuckle, maybe something made me slightly giggle. I rarely actually laugh out loud while I'm reading unless what I read actually made me laugh or LMAO. A good laugh is good for the soul, usually.]

I sure hope sweetgypsea is and/or will be OK -- and can or will report back with the results.

My other half specialises in chest pain at the hospital, and she says without a doubt go to the ER. They will check you out straight away and at least you could be relaxing with a beer later knowing that all is well.

I noticed that as well. I'm sure we all hope that the OP can at least tell us, now that we all are concerned for their well-being, and will let us know the status.

Lots of prayers and good vibes were sent as a result of the very first post and more since then.

I just hope that the Blood was not the Sign of Something Serious.

I'm no Doctor, but Coughing Up Blood doesn't sound like it can be good. And something that I think would Warrant Immediate Medical Attention.

I've never heard of anything good about coughing up blood.

On the other hand, I have heard of people who want/need their "15 minutes of fame" ? I hope that's not the case here...that the OP was/is confused and didn't know where to turn at that moment and happened to be here on ECF and didn't know what to do?

Then We all then chimed in and it helped them figure out to go to the ER and get medical assistance, if indeed, it was medical assistance that they needed.

Actually the last update we got from the OP was a post that they were messaging us from the Emergency Room, letting us know they did the right thing and went there. In that respect "we" - both us here and the OP - managed to do the right thing.

And now they aren't. May have just been a log in that was left open since last night.

I checked their account - no posts on ECF since they hit the ER.

I'm sitting at the ER now. Long wait. If I can't be seen in a couple hours I may leave and go to urgent care first thing in the morning. Thanks for all your support everyone.
